I mean, really. You join a balto site because apparently you have a liking to balto. whether your a true fan or not, you know who he is and you obviously dont hate him. Mabey making it mandatory is not the best Idea (Although I think you should, but Ill get into that alittle later)

You sign up for One of the following reasons.
-Wolves
-Balto
or Friends.

Most sign up for the first two....
But if you signed up for Balto, then why are you not signing this? You obviously like it enough to sign up for a site thats DEDICATED to balto. Everything is balto. Everything. If your not a fan anymore, then you stick around for friends, but theirs Other places for friends. Instant messangers. So why stay here if your not truely into balto? I know why, Because somewhere you still are a fan. Whether you deny it or not. Am I correct? And if you dont sign the petiton, then your thinking of yourself.

A. Your lazy...
B. Your not alloud
or C. Your not going to buy it even if it came out.

if C is you answer. And Be honest here, then you are thinking about yourself, and not the other people who ARE Balto obsessed, if you will. Yeah. Yeah, I know. I dont know these people so why do I really want to sign it for other people. Well if you think this way, then I cant change that. But think of the people who DO want this Dvd in their hands, who Have hope for this Dvd to come out, and who dont feel like spending $30-60 for each individual Dvd... (or they are tight on money)

I believe making it mandatory is a good thing.

Chances are you signed up because you like wolves, balto, or feel like trying something new... and if your not a fan, as I said before why do you bother? For friends? Theres instant messangers, Myspace, Friendster. So many places to talk to friends.

For Art? Well, Dev Art For example.

For Wolves, theres plenty of other wolf sites out there.

Roleplaying? Theres SO MANY EXCELLENT roleplaying sites. Take BBA for example.

Mabey this site is easier to get onto? Well, then your lazy. Period. I cant see anyother reason for sticking around unless you like balto.

And not being a fan is no excuse for not signing it...

So why stay here? What keeps you here? Give us a good, good answer, and then this might not be so difficult to understand.

maybe but think about the new comer who wants to sign up and finds out that you have to sign some kind of a petition in order to enter. maybe he/she does not want to sign the petition and leaves to find another balto site with no mandatory petition.

I would rather put it this way: every time there is a new comer signing up. the petition would pop-up and if he/she does not want to sign the petition, then it is okay. you can still be on the site without signing the petition.

ah, Yeah. But with that we'll have the same thing, not signing it because their lazy or too anxious to get onto the site... Hardly anyone even considers reading/clicking on pop-ups or terms of use, so what makes the Petition any different then those two?

yeah. I am very curious what is going to happen if the petition comes mandatory. maybe we should ask steet making the petition mandatory but i think he has another point of view.

hmm mabey he should try it for a few days and see how things turn out... but thats up to steet. ^^ xD
