Every dog and musher who participated in this relay is a hero, and if you ask me, I'd say the least we could do is put up a plaque of all of their names to honor what they did. Also, you have no way of knowing that the details we read in articles are only based off of guesses with no first-hand experience. I don't see why they would just be made up. This story received coverage by the media when this happened and there is no reason why mushers who participated in this relay could not tell their stories for the records. Either way, I'm pretty sure we can be confident in the fact that these dogs and mushers faced horrible conditions in an Alaskan snow storm.
Second, you need to stop talking down to people. You are not above anyone else on this site. I (nor anyone else) am not below you just because my opinion differs from yours, and you are not going to act that way. It is outrageously immature and uncalled for. I don't know what your story is, but I'm not going to be punished for it. You aren't the boss of me and I do not tolerate people putting me down and smashing my opinions. Be mature and accept the fact that not everyone is going to agree with you on everything like I am. I stand by everything I have said.
Whether or not Togo gets a movie is not what's most important. What's important here is that more people know the story of how humans and dogs have faced unbelievable obsticles and never gave up on themselves in order to help others who were in dire need of help, and that they see the story as an inspiration and a phenomenal moment in American history. Alaska wasn't part of the states way back then, but still. The fact that Jersey's opinion differs from yours doesnt exactly make him talking down to you either. I cant find anywhere where he did. Thank you, BTWD. That, exactly. Riley wrote: Jersey, you need to stop acting like that.

Period. And if you cannot properly interpret context when I made every effort to make it neutral and conversive, then you have no business being on the internet. If you cannot handle what I said in my post, then you will never, ever manage elsewhere, or in the real world. Not every person who disagrees with you, and points out your very apparent errors in posting is either talking down to you or bossing you around. Follow your own brusque and incendiary advice, and grow up please.

Follow your own brusque and incendiary advice, and grow up please. First off, everything you said in this post ^ falls under the category of "talking down". That's uncalled for. Second, I do not care in the LEAST bit if you or anyone else here has a different opinion than mine. I said that already. I don't like arguing so if anyone wants to disagree with me on any subject, they can feel free just as long as they do so respectfully and not tell me that I can't make it in the real world (which I have always done quite well in and am becoming more and more acomplished as time goes on). The only thing bothering me is that you can't handle the fact that I disagree. Third, I'm pretty sure that this entire argument started because of a misunderstanding. I don't HAVE to make this clarification, but I will just to end this. When I said Togo shouldn't have a movie, I was talking about the serum run. Making a movie centered around how he taveled the farthest distance wouldn't be very entertaining, and wouldn't really have an adequate ending since the serum run story ends with Balto heading into Nome. I am aware of his history, acomplishments, abilities, and his status as a sled dog. Yes, he was a heroic dog. If Hollywood wanted to make a movie about, say, his life, they should go for it. He'd deserve it. Hopefully this will clear things up and we can end these arguments and be civil.

They should've brought Togo more into the spotlight at that time.. But a new movie should be overrated.
It would feel like: 'Oh sorry, Balto was a mistake. Togo is the real hero!' And the whole Balto thing would be wasted :')
But I'd like a new wolf/dog movie though.

Every dog that ran in the run is just as worthy as a movie as Togo is.
