Fancy Collars, Bandanas, stuff like that is okay. I mean when we take my Toy Poodles to the vet's office in the winter give them a sweater to keep warm but that's about it.

I agree of what you had to say Moonpool, but animals have fur on for crying out loud
The only reason we give them little sweaters is because they're like 13 and Runt has really thin fur. It looks funny when she wears it but she doesn't mind at all. But Higgy doesn't like walking in it XD

Sweaters are perfectly fine for cold weather. Some hairless breeds and dogs like Italian Greyhounds often SHOULD have coats, and even with fur I think it's often a good idea. They're cozy and comfy and as long as they fit right, the dogs are warm and happy and don't notice 'em.

I don't like it when I see people dressing their dogs in pointless clothing...Bandannas are fine because dogs wear collars already so having something around their neck is something they are already used to. Although, sweaters are quite pointless for dogs who do not need them, as in, dogs who can tolerate cold temperatures or dogs who don't need it for medical conditions.

I don't know about you guys but, I like to keep my dog looking as much like a dog as I can by leaving out the unatural looking fur cuts, pointless sweaters and dying her fur a different colour.

I very much agree with you on principle, Emily (although I must admit I've seen white poodles dyed pink and other colors and found it pretty.)

personally i like my dog bare and nude as the day i adopted her, the most she wears is a sweater in the snow when its below zero (in nyc) and she's so happy to be out in it that she dosnt care if shes col, or a bandanna cuz she's a beagle/harrier and yeah she nos she looks smexy in it but the doggles and rimestone collars are too much for a pup. Dogs are natually beautifull i mean their cute when we get them and chances are they didnt come with cloths when we did so y dress them? Anyway sasha slipps out of the sweater i put on her in the winter cuz as much as she needs she, we all no she hhhhaaaaattes cloths!! so it'd be pointless to embaress and depress my dog as well as make her hot cuz that nateral coat of hers is layered (thinks its how she can run thru fresh snow for hours before comming back cold, wet, and wishing she wouldnt have slipped out her sweater)
