I think people are too harsh on Titanic, its one of my most favourite movies - anything Titanic related kinda interests me, I don't really know why, meh. D:

Everything about the movie just seems do perfect, it seems so real, they couldn't have made it any better. I don't really see how someone can find it boring, in less you mean the bit before the ship sinks, then maybe I could understand. The ship sinking is amazing to watch, I wish I could have seen it in cinemas... I was 6 when it came out though..so yeah. XD; I must have been about 6 when I first saw the movie, when it came out on video.
The Jack and Rose storyline, I thought was great. <3 Most people seem to hate it, though... D: andand, yeah. Just a really impressive movie, imo.
Watching the making of the movie was really interesting aswell... everything looks so real, the sets and costumes were awesome.

LOVEEEEEEEE. <3

It is a great storyline! And the attention to detail is phenominal! I've really gotten into studying the event ever since I saw the movie last year. It's really interesting stuff!

How can anyone think it's 'stupid'.. or 'boring'..?!?

Titanic is one of my favourite movies of all time. It's extremely romantic.. and very, very gripping and exciting, and knows just how to grab the emotions. I cry when I watch it. The detail truly is phenominal! And the song 'My Heart Will Go On' is.. is.. I can't describe it. It's so powerful! The music score in the film is incredible.. and sends shivers up and down my spine.

Calling it 'stupid' or 'boring' is awful. Thousands of people died on that ship, don't forget.. -_-

Perhaps the greatest film of all time. <3333 I can't describe my love for it. ^____^

Also... Leo DiCaprio ish SUUUUUU sexy... o____O *drools* XD

i agree with you both! i love the whole story-line, and whenever i watch the last part, ya know, when its sinking, it brings a tear to my eye. No matter how many times i watch it  just look at my siggy, it has the exact date Titanic sank...

Yeah, and I'm glad they added in the stern and the word Titanic after it goes down in the background. It adds to the emotion and tragedy of the scene.

I think that the movie was excellent in quality AND storyline and that the theme song "My Heart Will Go On" (which was co-written, produced and composed primarily by James Horner, the same guy who produced and composed the music on the Balto soundtrack as well wink.gif) was performed absolutely outstandingly by Celine Dion (who I recently saw at a live concert in Las Vegas last June!!!!!!! closedgrin.gif) and is probably IMHO the greatest song ever sang in the history of the entire Universe itself!!!!! wink.gif -Charlie. cool.gif

@BaltoTheMagnificent: I'd actually say that the end of Titanic fits under Action AND Horror. D:
I can kinda understand why some people wouldn't like the movie, its so long, and for most parts the main genre is Romance, so if you don't like that genre, its bound to be boring. :33

As I said above though, I absolutely love it. <3

Yeah, I see what you mean by the romance being boring or over the top and covering the tragedy, but it plays a major role in emotion. You have to like the characters in order to appreciate what happened to the ship and the people. That's what James Cameron was trying to do with the romance.

I really wish they had left in the deleted stuff from the Carpathia scene in.
