I kinda think she's a light brown.

dusty is NOT tan, shes lialac vrownish gray, the color of dust.

For all of you people who are saying tan, tan describes a BROWN color. Dusty is not brown, Kirby is.

So yes, anyway, her main fur would have to be a greyish lilac. Her underfur would most likely be a very light gray. Anyone who says they see cream doesn't know that cream describes a light yellow.

I am sticking with taupe. Though that in itself is hard to describe, so is hers. The shades of taupe on Wikipedia's color charts (mixed with other colors) are the closest color match I've found to Dusty.

In real dogs, the coat color would probably be referred to as liver.

I'm fully aware that cream describes a light yellow, being the owner of two Golden Retrievers whose colour is easily described as "cream". It could just be me, but I said cream because that's what I see in her fur.

I see no tan
Just lilac/grey & cream/white

Tan is a brown colour. A light shade of brown. Dusty has absoloutely no tan in her, not on the top of her body, not on the bottom of her body. If you see her any other way... either you're colourblind, need glasses or... you're TV screen/computer screen has a different colour setting or seriously needs cleaning

Flare might've meant the darker part of her? :shrug:

The lighter fur of Dusty is cream,and Dusty's darker fur is Taupe.

The RGB (Red Green Blue) code on Dusty’s fur is R-129 G-92 B99

I discovered this by putting a pic of dusty ( http://baltosource.timduru.org/img/gallerie3/99.jpg ) in Adobe Photoshop and using the colour Picker tool.

There is more to the colour than the RGB code but it gent’s too complicated!
