Not at all. They made someone
else's character into something the 'originator' did not. They technically, "stole" the whole idea. It's like... Me drawing Drop Dead Gorgeous's 'Amaya' as a scarless human with brown hair. That does
not make the
character mine, does it? No, I just went to a limb and made her something she is not.
So, I think these people are no better than art theives.
