PS: I wish I could do karate, but sadly I can't. Cerebral Palsy... a muscle and nerve problem, but all's good!

Hunter's heart almost stopped as Kruz spoke. Kruz was frozen solid and trembling in fear. Hunter could omly watch as a, large, black wolf revealed himself from the bushes.


"Who are you, and what do you want," Hunter asked, demanding an answer. The black wolf smirked as he approached Hunter.


"Just that little pup hiding behind you...I need nothing from you panther so I suggest that you get out of my way!" Bider replied.


As soon as Bider brushed Hunter's shoulder. Hunter rammed him to the ground. "I think not!" he stated angrily. Kruz had bega to back away into the trees.


Bider arose to his feet and glared at Hunter. 'Why is this fool protecting that whimp? Bah, what does it matter? I'll two birds with one stone. And bring one Birds head back to prove I'm the rightful alpha!' Bider thought. He took an attacking stance, belly to the ground. "So you inted to fight me panther!? well come and get it!" Bider shouted as he lunged for Hunter. HUnter was surprised by the attach, he was kind of hoping that Bider woulf back off. But he found himself struggling to keep his throat from the other wolf's jaws.


Kruz watched from a safe distance, feeling guilty that he had gotten his friend into this mess. In his mind he struggled on deciding: should he help, or should he run. Kruz knew that this was his battle to fight and theat he shouldn't have Hunter fight it for him. His mind was set, Kruz was going to help Hunter no matter what. His decision was not made by his own will. But another overpowering feeling he felt towards the Panther. Something he couldn't describe.


Hunter struggled to keep up with the speed of the black wolf. His attacks were going for any open spot on his body. It was hard to defend himself from the quickness and timing that Bider had. He continued looking for an open spot on the wolf. But Bider was crouching so low, you could barely see white fur on his belly. Bide went for another strike, but Hunter foresaw the move. It was going for his right flank. Hunter Evaded and gave a heavy lunge to Bider's hind leg, clamping it in is jaws. He bit down hard until he heard the wolf's bone cracking in his jaws. But Bider kicked Hunter in his throat forcefully, Hunter was almost choking. He soon let go and Dropped Bider, who stood up on all fours and acted as if nothing had happen.


Bider winced slightly at the pain that his right hind leg was gving him. But a force drove him. The thrist for power. He had come to retrieve Kruz's head and take his place in the pack as alpha. and he wasn't going to give up just becasue he had a minor set back. Although his intentions were not pure, Bider was determined.


Kruz began to sprint in the direction of the fight. He soon jumped ontop of Bider and held him down forcefully. He was stronger than most yearlings in his pack. Bider struggled under the immense force of the attack.


Hunter watched as Kruz stepped in and held Bider down. He didn't want kruz to be fighting in his current condition. But Kruz seemed fine. Still, Hunter was worried. "Kruz...leave him to me. You've got to run!" Hunter shouted.


Kruz looked over his shoulder while holding Bider down. "No, Hunter. This is my fight! It's my problem, and I'm going to deal with it!"

Hunter didn't want to let Kruz fight on his own. For one, he was at a great disadvantage. But there was something else that drove him to want to help Kruz even more. But Hunter had no time to think. He merely steppe back and remained alert. But Hunter was ready to jump in anytime.


Krus saw that Hunter had stepped back. He nodded and turned back his attention to Bider. Kruz smirke and dlivered a blow to Bider's face with his forepaw. Then, again with his claw. Bider growled an snarled as he kicked Kruz off from onto of him and got to his feet. Kruz landed several feet away from the spot he had pinned Bider at with immense force. Kruz was barely recovering from his fall, when Bider lunged foreward and pinned him down.


"You're not fit to be alpha," Bider scoffed as he put his fangs at Kruz throat. Kruz could feel a sharp pan in his throat as Bider began to sink his fangs, tearing the skin. Blood drooled as Bider bit down harder. Kruz began to struggle with breathing as the air almost stopped flowing through his lungs. Kruz tried to hold on, but it was becoming too much for him.


Hunter growled lowly as he approached Bider from behind. He was not going to let Kruz die. Hunter quickly jumped on Bider's back and tore him from Kruz's throat, taking him backwards. Hunter and Bider rolled around in the Grass for a moment, tossing violently to get the upper hand. But Bider ended up on the bottom.


"You're strong, Hunter," Bider said slyly. "But I've got back up," He continued. Bider gave three loud barks. At first, nothing. But after a few moments, a circle of wolves appeared from the bushes. All were unfamiliar to Kruz. They were not from his pack. But he was amazed that Bider had actually convinced all of these wolves to Kill an inoccent youngster just so that Bider could gain control of a pack that wasn't even his.


Hunter growled angrily at Bider. *****, Theres too many! Hunter thought.


Kruz thought quickly and yelled out to Hunter. "Hunter, there's too many! We've got to run!" Kruz said.

Hunter acted quickly and lept off of Bider and ran off towards Kruz.


Kruz saw Hunter running towards him and began to run in the direction he was headed a few nights ago. Hunter had caught up easily. The two left angry snarls and grows behind as they dissapeard into the forest.


The growls an snarls grew more and more faint, but then rose once again. Bider and the rest fo the wolves were still persuing them. But Hunter and Kruz continued to run and run.


Hunteer and Kruz had begun to lose hope of ever getting away from the murderous mob behind them. And when they came up to a lrage waterfall, all hope seemed lost. Hunter gave Kruz a discouraged look as he watched a river curve out from on side of the forest and then take a large plunge into the waterfall.


"Hunter, we're going to jump," Kruz stated. Hunter gave a surprised look. But then hasttily agreed when he heard the angry barks coming closer. The two nodded to each other. Kruz jumped, then Hunter. Kruz could see the vigorous river at the bottom. All at once, Kruz felt a thousand needles of cold water hit him. He could feel himself going under the water, a large force pulling him away from where he fell. kruz's body was being savagly torn by the water's force as Kruz struggled to stay at the surface. Kruz opened one eye to see Hunter swimming in his direction. Hunter grabbed Kruz by the scrufff of th neck and ragged him onto a dry peice of land. He hid them both behind the trees so that Bider would lose their track.


Bider had watched from a distance as he saw the two fugitives do what he was planning on doing. Bider smirked and skidded to a halt. As did the other wolves.


"They are gone. Nobody could have survived such a fall. Let us go to my pack, you shall all recieve what I promised," Bider stated.

That was it, Bider thought he had one. But he hadn't. Kruz was still barely alive. But it didn't matter If Kruz was dea or not. Just as long as he had some witnesses to Kruz's plunge. He could make the pack believe anything.


Kruz barely able to stay concious. His energy was drain. Hunter flopped down beside Kruz and began to lick the sore wound. Kruz whimpered as he felt a soft, slimy tounge stroke away at the woun on his throat. The pain made it impossible for Kruz to stay awake. His eyelids drooped to a close, and soon, everything went black.

Hunter worried for the young wolf's health after he blacked out. he began to pace back and forth, checking every now and then to see if Kruz was still breathing. Hunter had decided to just lay down beside Kruz and keep him warm when night came. But still Kruz did not wake.


It took Hunter a while to figure out why Kruz wasn't waking up. He was tired. kruz was exhasuted from the fight and from the tearing water. It ha dall consumed so much energy that his body was making up for it by sleeping. Hunter smiled and laughed at himself for being so nieve. Then he settled closer to Kruz.


Hunter had gotten some time to think about things. But they all led up to him and Kruz. He only thought about Kruz and he could only imagine Kruz in his arms. Why? Why did he feel like this. It was strange to him. He couldn't believe that he was actually thinking like that. But it felt so right to him. Every time he got near the wolf, he wanted to grab him and hold him close to his chest like the night before. To keep him, to cherish him. To Love him.Hunter thought.


Kruz had slept for a while, with Hunter next to him. But soon, he regained his conciousness and began to think about what had happened. His head throbbed in immense pain, and his vision was disoriented. Kruz tried to stand, but he couldn't. Kruz just fell to the ground, like a foolish pup trying his first steps. And wierder was that he landed nose to nose with Hunter, who was not even close to being awake yet.


Hunter was dreaming of actually making Kruz his. His own love put into every ounce of Kruz and claiming him as hia mate. But it al ended as he opened his eyes and looked at Kaso, who seemed very disoriented.


"Uh...good morning," Kruz said sheepishly, blushing at the same time. H unter smiled and scotted closer to Kruz, grabbing him and holding him close to his chest, like he had wanted to. the sudden jerk of movent made Kruz wimper in surprise.


"Good morning," Hunter whispered into his ear. Kruz blushed, feeling his face become completely comsumed by fire. He felt safe, for once. The way that the panther held him made him feel safe. He didn't struggle, he only enjoyed every part of being with hunter. But why? What made him feel so attracted towards the Panter. He was the same gender, and yet it felt too good to be true to be held by another male.


Hunter soon let go when he finally realized that this wasn't a dream, and maybe he might've scared the wolf or made him get the wrong opinion of what he was doing.


"Sorry I just...couldn't help it," Hunter explained pathetically. Kruz didn't know what to say. was he really in love with the panther, or was he juts having wierd thoughts? Kruz couldn't decide, but his mind seemed to speak to him. You love him...you know it,He thought.


As soon as Hunter began to scott away and stand up, Kruz felt alone again. He felt like he wasn't whole without the panther. That decided it. he did love the panther, even though he didn't even know him.


"Please...don't go...I want you...to be with me," Kruz said, speaking his mind. Hunter stopped and turned to the wolf.


"What?" He asked surprised by the wolf's words.


"I know it's wrong...but I want you...no...I want to be yours," Kruz explained.

Hunter stopped dead in his tracks and turned to look at Kruz.

"You...want to be mine...to be my..." Hunter stopped thinking that he might've gone too far. But he looked into the wolf's eyes, they were filled with a wanting. A lonely stare that drove him closer to Kruz.

Kruz sighed and nodded. "I know...it seems wrong...but to me...it feels so right...I want to be yours Hunter...I really do," Kruz said, pouring his heart into his words.

Hunter's heart jumped, this was his chance. The chance that he could admit that he loved Kruz. And Hunter took control of that chance. He strode closer to Kruz and grabbed him in his arms and held him close to his chest, for the third time. But now, he could do it and know that Kruz was just fine in his arms. Hunter placed his lips to Kruz's ear and whispered softly.

"Kruz...I love you...Its not wrong...not to me," Hunter said softly. He let Kruz hang in hi arms as he moved him away from his chest and looked deep in his amber eyes. His grey fur already bathed in the panther's shadow black. Hunter leaned foreward, readying himself for a kiss.

Kruz could see that Hunter was leaning forward. He knew what this meant. And he could accept it or let it go. And Kruz chose to accept. He began to lean foreward as well.

For a moment, their lips touched and they pulled away slightly. But when their lips met for a second, they locked each other in their senses. kruz lost in Hunter and Hunter lost in Kruz. Their tounges intertwined, as did their tails.

Their worlds mixed for what seemed to be hours.

Soft chirping echoed through the wide forest. The forest came to life with the rising sun. The nightly gentle river became more vigorous with every minute. Kruz's ears twitched at all of these soft sounds. His eyes opened to the dim light. He was still in the same spot where he had...he and Hunter...where they...made love. It was all coming back to Kruz. Felling the Panther become one with him, it had all felt so good and so right. He didn't even question their bond anymore. All that mattered was that he was with Hunter. Kruz felt the Panther's long arms wrapped around his back, holding him close. Close enough to smell his musky scent. Kruz smiled as he looked around, there was a white substance that stained both of their waists, and they were bathed in each other's fur. Kruz turned in Hunter's arms to face the panther, he licked Hunter's cheek softly, hoping that he would wake.


Hunter felt a soft tounge meet his cheek. He smiled and gave a wide yawn, knowing it was the wolf he held in his arms. Hunter opened his eyes and gave a warm smile to Kruz. Kruz smiled back.


"Morning," Kruz said cheerfully. It seemed as though his encouter with Bider meant nothing. Hunter gave Kruz a soft lick on his nose.


"Morning," Hunter replied.
