I was beginning to think nobody was gonna mention Bambi. What really killed me was the scene in Bambi 2 where he met his mother in a dream. I wrote a story based on that once, and just reading it makes me cry (I realize I sound lie a total sissy, but anyone who says so is lucky that A) I'm a Christian and don't believe in unneccessary violence, and B) I can't punch you through a computer screen. lol.

A lot of the live action movies you other people mentioned, like Where The Red Fern Grows and Eight Below are movies I haven't seen. I have seen most of the animated ones, though.

Where the Red fern grows, that's the saddest film I've ever seen, couldn't forget it for almost a year :shock:

So far, Eight Below, Homeward Bound and Fluke. My sister practically begged me to not put Eight Below again, it's so sad! Poor Maya. Ahh! I can't beleive I forgot Black Beauty. The part where Joe finds Beauty after being sold, " I'm here, it's alright. Everything's going to be alright." So moving! It's sad, and at first I thought Ginger was sick, not dead.

Aww. I just love Homeward Bound. It made me alittle weepy when Sassy got washed down the river and started crying for Chance and Shadow. And they looked and looked for her and thought she was dead. I got sad when Shadow fell into that hole and just couldn't get out (as someone said already) It was just.. the whole movie was fantastic.

Homeward Bound-Uhm, I cant remember what made me tear in this one either. XD I am losing my memory. T.T
Old Yeller- I cant really remember what made me tear in this one. But I know it was a sad part though.
The Fox and The Hound-The part in that movie that made me tear was when Willow(I think thats her name) leaves Todd.

Personally, the part of Homeward Bound that makes me cry the most is when Shadow falls into the ditch and doesn't think he can make it out, and just the entire ending when the pets come home, and Peter is waiting for Shadow...and he starts to think that it was too far and he was too old to make it. ;__;

But there are other parts of that movie...when they save that lost little girl in the woods, for instance. Heck, the whole film's so gorgeous you could cry at it, same for The Incredible Journey (and other "lost pets" movies.)

"Old Yeller"'s saddest part has to be Yeller's death.

And you're right, the saddest part of TFATH is "Goodbye May Seem Forever," the little song Widow Tweed sings when she leaves Todd. (LOL, for a minute I thought Willow was her name too, but I see how you could mix that up--even possibly think of Grandmother Willow from Pocahontas instead! xD)
