Cho was crazy to kill all those people. If you want people to like you, you have to be friends with them first! It's crazy just to hate people for something they didn't even do!Cho couldn't have been stopped and he can't be now because it's over with.If we could restart time which we can't sure we could maybe stop him but I doubt it.So let's just take this and think that life was set to be like this.We can't change not now...not ever.Maybe in the future when/if we have time machines we can go back in time and stop him but when we go back to the future probably everything will be changed.

Getting hold of a gun over there is way too easy, getting a license is too simple. We have a strict law here in the UK to prevent usage of guns, and are only used to hunt animals and vermin. When they apply for a license to get a gun, they should take trips to their homes and search and have a very good look into their backround history. If America took this into account then maybe something like this happening again won't be too high... Guns aren't a bad thing unless they're in bad hands. I agree that it may be too easy to get a gun over here in the US, but how can we make it harder? Gun sellers already do background checks before selling guns to anyone, and searching through the houses of prospective buyers would take a little too much effort, don't you think? (If you sold guns for a living and twenty people who each wanted to buy one came to you in the same day, doing a search of each of their houses would seem a little overwhelming.)
Why not copy a European law? Theys seem to work out fine (correction: or at least slightly).

I know this may sound really weird, so if you think I'm crazy,...I'm not sure if I told you guys about my dreams. ever since we got back from my disney, I've been having these dreams. In every one, I was in a classroom, with grey carpet and desks and a old teacher up front, with grey hair and a friendly voice. Now, i don't remember a lot, but I DO remember getting under a desk and hearing screams as well as smelling blood. I heard gunshots echo through the room and saw the teacher get in front of the door. I remember seeing blood cover the carpet and terror filling the air. I remember seeing a guy wearing all black, but I couldn't see his face. I would wake up screaming every time. I recently got my dreams tested and they showed me pictures of the Virgina Tech classrooms at Norris and I started to freak out...that was the classroom. I soon realized that my dreams were a little out-of-the-ordinary, and I ended up having dreams about the Virgina Tech shooting. I had dreams during 9-11 but we shrugged that off.
So, this may sound crazy, but it's true...sorry if I'm freaking you guys out but it's freaking me out too. VT was a terrible thing, as some of my friend go to VT. None of them were injured nor in Norris Hall. ONE was in AJ and heard shots, but other than that....why would someone choose to do this to others?

They thought they had already caught the person that did it so they saw no immediate threat. They took that guy in for questioning right after the 2nd shooting occurred, any way this is not a high school this is 25,000 people. Many of which are coming from off campus (about 17,000) it's hard to stop them all that soon.

What a horrible tragedy, what kind of mental case would do such a thing. In my opinion if at least one of those students was able to carry a gun they would have been able to stop that maniac before he killed all those people. Personally it seems as if its to easy for criminals to get guns, mean-while it take an arm and a leg for law-abiding citizens to get them. It makes me sick that this Cho Seung-Hui was able to pull off such madness.

That's why Gun Control is a bad thing. All it does is take gun out of the hands of law abiding citizens and leaves the criminals with all the guns.

That's why you have the police there. So when the students drive through the parking lot's entrence's they police can stop the car and tell them to be careful and everything. I know you can't tell everybody about the two dorm killings but, atleast the students's coming off campus would've atleast had a chance of knowing about it by word of mouth.

And bet you didn't know he was Romanian. His name was Liviu Librescu. What a loss....

In Virginia, law abiding citizens can buy semi-automatic handguns. The shooter was a law abiding citizen (until he became the shooter anyway) and used his right to buy a gun. Then he shot 32 people.
Armed citizens are more likely to shoot each other than to shoot criminals, and criminals are less likely to to shoot citizens if those citizens are not armed. And that's why strict gun laws are necessary.
