Wow.
I'm not surprised by the fact that Disney's making a sequel to Fox and the Hound, but I too am curious to see what surprises they'll put in for this sequel.
From what I've seen of the "colorful" screencaps, it looks like it could be about something that happened in their past, you know, when Tod and Copper were still young. Or maybe it could be Tod and Copper's offspring, just like all other obvious sequels by Disney.
But you're right, it looks way too bright and colorful as a sequel to such an almost depressing, coming-of-age film that makes you want to cry your eyes out.

its sooo dumb. I don't see why they come out with it now. Nobody even knows the plot probably.

I think thats gotta be one of the most retarted disney sequal plots ever, and thats one of my favourite disney movies... ¬¬;; great.. Well I havent seen the trailer yet, but I already heard it was on the kronks new grove DVD... Those pictures make me depressed . . . . The Fox and the Hound is one of my fave movies ever, and now Disney is destroying it . . . . The story seems to be more of a modernized mid-quel instead of a sequel. I thought a perfect sequel for FATH would have something dealing with Tod and Vixey having little fox kits and maybe having something to deal with Tod and Copper's friendship. But nooo . . . . Disney has no idea what they have just destroyed . . . and it's not going to be out on DVD until near the end of the year.

maybe disney came out with this Fox in the hound2 a little too early. thay should of made fox and the hound2 about what happens after the first movie. then make this fox and the hound2 (the new one thats coming out)
into Fox and the hound 1 1/2.
