I think angels are a race all on their own, but that's only because I'm Christian. However, I do believe in Native American 'Spirit Guides.'

Well, I don't know if the idea of animal angels blasphemes Christianity in any real sense. Blaspheme carries such a strong connotation that while it may represent a theological error from a Christian standpoint, I don't think it's blasphemous. I personally don't believe that animals become angels, but I also don't believe that human beings become angels either. I believe that angels are a separate entity apart from humans. Human beings have souls, and I believe that when they go to heaven (if, indeed, they make it there) they become transfigured and have no need for earthly bodies or things, but they are not angels in the strict sense of the word.
I do believe that humans can watch over us on earth from heaven, and I'll go out on a limb and say that perhaps animals can as well. If that was what was meant by "animal angels" then I'm in agreement.

You're absolutely right about the definition of the word "blaspheme." By definition, blasphemy is the sin of claiming to be God or to know better than God, either by words or actions. So the idea of animal angels is not blasphemous by any means, although it may be somewhat heretical, or contrary the teachings of the Bible. I'm not a pastor by any means, although I am on my way to becoming a Bible scholar, so I may be wrong about it counting as heresy. For now, I'm just a dictionary.

I know stuff specific to one religion is frowned upon here, but I feel this should be said. I am not a paranormalist by any means, but I haave done some research and have concluded that there are two types of ghosts: ghosts in the mind, or demons in the guise of the deceased, seeking to lead humans astray. I also believe that demons sometimes impersonate true angels, which makes sense since they are technically angels themselves. As an example of my beliefs concerning ghosts, there is a case I was told of by a reliable source. Some kids were playing with a Oija board (supposedly ghost-driven, for those who don't know). One of them, it seems, was a Christian (what a Christian was doing playing with that stuff, I don't know), and she decided to put the board to the test. so she told it, "Spell me the name of my Lord (Jesus)." But instead of spelling out the simple, five-letter name, the indicator stopped cold.
Now, how would that happen unless something bad were at work?
