Animation Source Forums

I prefer the first balto because one, I like the voice actor tons better, though the other guy did "ok", and too, the first Balto was a lot more "round" in his character, whereas in the next two, we dont really see any growing up in the character sort to say, just a kinda flatness. Thats what i think.

I vote for balto1,because the story is very good and I never forgot.[/b]

Nothing better than the original

I must agree, the first Balto is the best.

i voted the first Balto because it has the best animation, and its got a better story.
~Krystal

The first Balto, he keeps gaining weight like Jenna in the 2nd and 3rd movie.

Yes, I noticed that. He used to be thin and more scruffy in the first Balto, then slowly his neck got fatter. Anywho, the first Balto is definitely my choice.

i like balto in the 1st cause the artists reall screwed him up in the others

I like all the Balto characters

I voted for Balto from B1 .Nothing better then the ~Original~.

I voted for Balto from WolfQuest.

Balto in the first one he was sweet shy kind and all those nice stuff.
Then Balto turns more open up and starts being more and stubborn!
Balto changes into a nice, stubborn, dog into a more liking-people dog.

The first. He had a great character.. and he actually had a character. I thought that in the sequels he was very predictable and sort of stereotypical.
