Yay!! I ish smart. ^^ How do ya like them apples, children? :^D
Okay, I'll give it another go. I should probably quit while I'm ahead, but eh, what the who. XD. Usually, a reader grows attatched to to character not only through emotion, but also through what that character has to go through. I'm not saying that everybody's character should be weak and pathetic, but more people are able to relate to that more if you start your story with someone like that -- AND SINCE NO ONE ON THIS SITE IS A REAL WOLF, it'd be best to start off small. As your story progresses, your character will grow and naturally become stronger.
...and yeah...having a scar slashed across your eye doesn't really say much. ^^

I can't stand it when people try to make their character "invincable" where's the conflict? The least they can do is make killing a problemmore than just by killing everyone around them For Kiona it eventually kills her because she is not that strong mentally or physically compared to most. MUST...HAVE...CONFLICT...
It looks to me, that people who have "invincible" characters seem to act as if their character is the best and better than anyone elses. I know its annoying, but I don't think you can really do anything, so you just have to ignore them.

I have a char 'in making' named Clover. She is really scared of Male dogs because of her past (which im still thinking up) She'll strike out sometimes if a male dog gets nere. She has a bit of anxiety arounnd them, thats what sets her off.
I always give my carries a reason to be angry and attack someone/something. Here are a few reasons I made up just right now:
1) Has anxiety
2) Never developed social skills
3)scared of wolves/dogs
4)was attacked as a pup
5) Watched parents killed by *insert thing here* and hates them for that
6)saw something like vilonce as a pup
7)had a kennel mate or friend who liked to kill and learned from that
and thats all I can think of right now, Im under 13 too. But thoses are some ideas to why a char would attack. Im not saying " Now you can all make killing chars!!!" No, Im saying theses are some ways to be creative with youe chars past! I didnt give any reasons to hate their family or have a thirst for blood.
Badass can be your char is popular and noone will chalange him for fight. Be creative with the word 'badass' it dosnt mean' have a thirst for blood' now does it???

I have a character like that...only he's not "bloodthirsty". Yes,he does have scars (and pleez don't call me emo, 'cause I'm NOT) He has them only because he's a fighting dog, and not the best one, either. He's also a victim of abuse, so there's another reason...actually, he's really kind, and I'm using him in a FanFic. It's kinda like "don't judge a book by its cover"...
All in all, great point. I hate when people act tough and draw their bloody gorey charries and say, "Oh, this is how I'm feeling EVERYDAY...Don't mess with me, 'cause I'll kick your arse" and when you talk to them, they'll be like, "Get out of my face or my character will kick yer arse!" and act all tough.

Well I totally agree with the whole "stealing characters for popularity" issue, and I want to say that there are too many "bloodthirsty badasses" characters made. I don't understand why people can't make a character with a normal life.
Don't get me wrong, my fursona, RayJ, is badass and shes a killer, but I didn't steal her and I didn't make her to gain popularity. I'm not a hippocrit. XD

The only badass charrie I have is Darth Roone aka canine Sith lord.XD
But he's not bloodthirsty, killing is his job. And he does it with a lighsaber.
I'm trying all the time, not to copy from other people. It can't SO hard to make up your own characters, without the "help" of others. When I designed my charrie Chiboa, she was just a blue (my fav colour) Jedi wolf. I taught she was uniqe, cause she was blueish.XD Than we got the internet. I found BS. And I was like "dang! that's a lot of blue wolves... but ha! none of these has a tail ring and a rebel insignia tatoo...and is an alien" XD So there was my character. I first showed her as my fursona, but she didn't represent me (exept that she was stubborn and didn't care what people were thinking of her).
I'm a jackal, chihuahua or rat with my own calm personality.
Chiboa gets angry quick, but can also keep her cool. She likes fighting, but at the same time she tries to solve problems the nice way. She's allways trying to control her feelings (she has to, she's a Jedi knight), but also trying to show herself as mercyless, which she's not. She's ussually funny, with a good sence of humor and likes to rap. And sometimes annoying.XD
Her zodiak sign would probably be Gemini, cause she has 2 faces. Cool, hot. Light side, dark side. Nice wolfeh, badass.XD
P.S. Sorry for being an idiot, but what does "emo" mean? I'm not a native english speaker.XD

"Emo" is short for "emotional" and people have officially dubbed it something "cool" to be, but all it really is is a bunch of whiney children who say their life sucks when it doesn't. If they do that on a regular basis, they're "emo" XD
