I'm sooo jealous of those who got to see it at the cinemas...i saw it when it first came out on VHS hire, so I saw it quite some time ago...but i'd love to see it at the cinemas. I dunno, they re-released ET at the cinemas, and i know that was more popular, but maybe theres a shred of hope.. :P

I remember exactly how I became a balto fan. You can blame Desert Eagle 100%. [flashback] It all stared about a year ago. I had to pick a book for a reading assignment, so I picked the book Dogsong by Gary Paulson. I didn’t finished it because I had another book due. I then went on an outward-bound expedition during the summer, where one of the instructors did dog sledding during the winter. I got very interested the whole idea and when I got home immediately finished the book. When I was talking to Desert Eagle he kept on talking about balto and showing me his art. It sounded good because I liked the idea of dog sledding. I looked at a lot of the links on his site and from there I became the fan I am today. [/flashback] I have been drawing fan art since before I had even seen the entire movie, in fact I hadn’t seen the movie until about 3 months ago when I bought the DVD.

Now I see this topic

Anyways, I saw it sometime in 1997 when my dad brought it on VHS. WHen I first saw it, I liked it a lot. Back then, I used to watch it almost everyday. Now I don't get a chance to watch it as much.

Well, I saw it years ago, I don't remeber how, but all I remeber that I was little, but I loved the movie. Of course I was a young child so I forgot about it. It wasn't until a few months ago I saw it again. It was right after cartoon network had premiered Balto3:WoC, and they then showed the origonal Balto. I was bored and I remebered that I had been a good movie so I watched it. That was the birth of my current fan life. I also saw some parts of Balto2:WQ but not very much, but this was a few years ago. I still want to see Balto2 and Balto3

It was shown on German TV, a few years ago- and I was attracted like a magnet. The advertising was really poor, so that is why I never knew of it before, nor some of my other friends.

I saw it on christmas 2003 for the first time...and not entirely. But it caught my attention, so I bought it a few months later on DVD. I loved it from this time, and I can't even count how many times I've seen it...Especially because I'm often watching it in pieces, I've got it on my hard drive now so it's easy...
