I am aware. The tails (blue and red) I have had for coming on a year now...

I will say this again; I didn't intend for them to come out so closely in the first place, and the SECOND time around I intended for her to look more like Kirada and Nightmare.

But, no one looks to intentions anymore, only actions. Right?
Well, it's doesn't matter now, does it?

This is a difficult topic.

Well, first thing : Cat is an article mod, but also a fanart mod. This wasn't very clear to me either, and I still don't remember when I named her mod, but I had a little chat with the other mods, and I've decided that she will stay a fanart mod, for now.

Second thing : it's very difficult to be objective on such things. There are some cases when it's very obvious that a drawing has been copied, but in this case, it's really not that easy. To me it's 50/50, mixed. It could be very well a coincidence, there are not so many things that are possible when you make a drawing, on a particular topic. For anything you create, there's always something else in the world that is very similar to it, even when you're not aware of this.
I really don't know what would be the solution.

But in this particular case, I would tend to say that when there is no real proof a drawings has been copied, then it should be accepted by the fanart mods AS LONG as another author does not complain.
To Cat : that's also part of the things I reproached you, but I didn't manage to explain it. You quickly come to conclusions (by choosing to refuse them), when in a case like this, you should probably ask the opinion of the other mods.

Okay. But just so there's no confusion, I HAVE gotten complaints about this particular thing from certain people/person That's the only reason I'm so "hard" on her. As soon as I get an "It's ok, she can copy me" or something of the sort from the person(s) who didn't like what she was doing, then I'll let it lie. (But I think an artist knows when s/he's being copied, so I don't question it, unless its like...HARDLY noticable. But to me and others this case was one to take care of.)

Okay, the Staff Page said she was an Article Mod (and didn't list her as a fanart moderator) and several people told me she was no longer a fanart moderator. I didn't know and I apologize.

For Whispers's new look, I meant for her (I think I am contradicting myself here) to come out more like Nightmare, Kirada, and RazorBlade (three of my more popular characters).

CAT: For the complaints? I didn't receive on any but the FIRST Whispers, and the second time I PMed Livz (LLE) she only said "Yea whatever." I mean, all she had to say with the new design was "Hey, she still looks too close to me, can you change her again?" I wouldn't have minded, and I (again) apologize for the trouble.

I think what really upset me with this, is that I came to the site hoping to post a lot, become popular, and then some sort of moderator. Well, I know realize I set my standards WAY too high for a member like myself. I mean, really, what member doesn't dream about being a moderator?

I hope this didn't cause too much trouble for anyone...

Hmmm they look alittle alike. But they arn't the same. Whispers has enough creation and differency in her to see she is not the same as LLE fursona. Yeah they have the rainbow thinger, but it doesn't cover the same length or distance as LLE's does. In my opinion Poofz doesn't have the authority to deny it or the knowledge of two semi-similar charas that kinda look alike but arn't exactly the same. Like I said after Poofz denied it first (which i don't think they should have) you changed it and put even more creativity into her.

Thanks... Though as you can see it has been talked over with Steet. Though your post DOES open up a whole new door to the situation.
