Jeez, with all the talk about humping and penetration on this thread, I think we've officially gone overboard on what's acceptable for this site. I wonder if I've got the right website, what with all this mating talk. Maybe we ought to tone it down now. Also, I think we're discussing homosexual matters, which happens to be against the rules. Maybe you guys would like to stop.

I guess that's a good reason for us all to stop, no matter what our views on this are, huh? Good call, man. I didn't realize that.

I've sat back long enough, now I'd like to speak my piece:
Hmm...I understand what Steete was trying to do when he banned anythig related to homosexuality. Yet, I do not think that banning only homosexual fanfics and fanart (etc) is enough. I respect homosexuals. They can do whatever they want to do and I can do whatever I want to do. But I believe that just banning homosexual fics is a good start, but it needs to go farther to where all overly sexual and ecplicit(sorry if I misspelled) content is banned. I mean, it's not just homosexual sex that shouldn't be seen by kids, it's ALL sex. I do believe that homosexual fics should be allowed incredibly toned down (to the point where it's just like in the Balto movie, just malexmale)...but unfortunently, the BS (and the world) is not ready for this, so, until we all can lay down our prejudice, I guess all of it should be banned.

I believe that not only should all sexual and inappropiate fanfics and fanart be banned, but it should also be enforced. So I think that maybe the mods (if possible) should check out all of the fan creations for any of this stuff. And if that doesn't work...hey, there's always the report button.


I believe this is what we should be talking about, not just Homosexual fan creations, but all sexual and offensive fan creations.

It's all just a religious thing. I think it should be allowed as long as it's clean, and not among established characters.

Anyway, I'll answer this.

If I made this rule, the reason was because making gay pairings in the fanfics sent on the site was becoming a fad. And it's not acceptable to see this happening when more than half of the fanfics sent are concerned. This is a Balto site, do you think anyone expect to see such content when they visit the site? And what does the parents think about this, in your opinion?

Again, I accepted these fanfics in the past, when there were only a few. And when you make a rule for something like that, there can't be exceptions, or it wouldn't do anything and the visitors would not understand it. And if you don't agree with this, I can tell you that it's exactly what I did before I added this final rule : I gave exceptions, and the visitors just didn't care, it only gave more job to the mods for nothing.

So I made a rule to prevent this from getting all over the site. I would have done the exact same thing for a similar situation with a similar subject. (I don't know, drugs for example)

ALL OFFENSIVE FANFICS CAN BE FORBIDDEN. For example, incest fanfics are not allowed either. In a general way, the limit is PG-13.


The rules change with time. I'm not saying this rule will stay forever. It only depends on what YOU send. I'm not making the rules based on nothing...
