First; wtf?
Second; wtf?x2
Third: I'd rather not play Okami any other way, thankyouverymuch.
Fourthly; Okami is one of the few games I like, and believe me, I have two shelves full of games I've completed. Anyways, it is really worth every penny/dollar/pence/whatever valuta you guys use to buy stuff with.
Costed me around 27$ (459 norwegian Kroner).
Well worth it. Though I'm stuck at the last Blockhead, and I'm not very good at remembering weak points. Suggestions, anyone?

I hated the Blockheads too, until I discovered this genius way to cheat. I would have someone, like a sibling or a friend, stand by the TV and mark the weak points with erasable marker in the order that they appeared. If said friend(this never works with my brother though) has a good memory and/or lightning fast marker skills, they would also number the dots. Then I can just whack the marked spots with my brush and erase the dots when I'm done.

Video Capture and replay works well...
My methods:
1st Playthrough: I have to admit I used my Nikon Rebel to capture the final Blockhead and replay RAW still frames.
2nd Playthrough: Used my brain. Since most people can only remember 7 consecutive objects in a lotted time, your IQ is theoretically supposed to jump 15 points if you can remember 8 or 9 consecutive objects (the example of why many find it hard to remember the final Blockhead because there are 8 points as compared to 7). Who says you don't learn from videogames...
3rd Playthrough: Used my brain again.
4th Playthrough: Cheated from boredom. Decompiled script~execute=%"36.3a6i55"; var_cmd:string"false" and therefore Blockhead existed no more and I gotz t3h Silver Pocketwatch, though I had no reason to get it...
5th Playthrough: et cetera, et cetera
EDIT: 6th Playthrough: Well... technically it isn't a playthrough, I just wanted to see how fast I could complete the entire game. Surprisingly it was a whole whopping 0 hours, 0 minutes, and -4291580269105738433 seconds. (I think I scripted an incorrect parameter somewhere, but at least the credits rolled the instant the intro was finished... lol).

Emulator? Um... no. I really don't see where the idea of using an emulator would come from. I use a Playstation 2.

Then how, in the name of all that's good and Shiranui, is it possible to rescript PS2 games then? I've never seen it happen on anything, but emulators.
Off-topic, I know.

Running an additional debugging program to another processor from a 3.5" harddisk and then recompiles to a custom dual-layer DVD-RAW I ripped off my own copy of Omikami. Think of it as like the Borland C++ compiler that can establish new scripts or executables without having to debug and execute the whole program (or in this case, Omikami). Plus, I'm not running the game off of this homemade program, I just edit and script with it. I play Omikami on Playstation 2's default bios.

lol... Half the people I personally know still don't understand 7/8th's of what I say to them, so I'm used to it.

Off-topic: Still, playing the games as they were originally meant to be played is more fun than making it easier for yourself. And you can call yourself a hardcore player without making a 2% lie ^^
On-Topic: Any special tactics for defeating that annoying Ninetails?

Yay! I defeated Yami yesterday with 41 hours played! Now I'm playing again, lol
I'll be writing a review of the game as soon as I am finished with the Kingdom Hearts II one.

Collect all 100 Stray Beads? It's 'happy fun time' to collect one of them in Kamui.
Collecting stray beads for me the first time without any assistance from a guide pooled me in quite a few more hours than I intended, but I can say I accomplished something large for my efforts.

The people that you encounter in-game can't see the red marks or the 'divine instrument(s)' that you (Amaterasu) carry because the power of the Gods is so weak. Ahhhhh. Thank you! That really bugged me. I guess I didn't pay as much attention as I should've XD -- ANYWAYS! I have goten SOOO far on the game! I played it for almost a whole day! XD Broke a new record. And I'm currently in the Moon Cave, gathering the ingredients for the Imp Chef dude
