.......okay so I let the topic go and what happens? Drama, go figure for the moment I'm going to interject my two cents in here and participate in it in an effort explain WHY I can't stand this. (Even if it is slightly going off topic in my own topic I'd like to be frank and honest with you all for once.) First off THANKS FOR YOUR REPLIES! I really appreciate it! This topic has been very insightful. Hold on to your seats because here we go:



^^To be frankly honest I can't blame 3DGWolf for thinking that you called him an idiot. I had to look twice myself to see that you weren't, he clearly says he is aware you didn't mean to imply that he was.

Rather than leave it alone (this would have made more sense seeing as he explained himself in the previous post) the little drama session continues





Now in my opinion it seems as though this is basically calling him stupid and ignorant. Sarcasm really isn't needed you can't assume everyone understands everything you do. XP

Now honestly my intent isn't to single out individuals but to point out how pointless all of this drama is, I certainly didn't start coming to BaltoSource for stuff like that. And it totally ruins the mood for other people, no matter who you are. Now granted, I've participated in it myself several times, and if you look you'll see my posts in a few flaming wars I deny nothing. And Yes I realize that we have disagreements and we all need to speak our minds, I just think we should be able to conduct / stand up for ourselves in a more mature manner. Especially the older folks here, not only do they need to lead by example but they need to understand that younger people also have a brain and can contribute just as much as they can. And younger visitors need to understand that they can learn a thing or two from slightly (in some cases much) older users. No this is not a power trip, this is simply the passing on of "common knowledge" Remember we're all here in this together! We can all afford to learn a thing or two from each other.

Now you're probably thinking, well GEEEZ Lakoswolf did you have to write a freaking book about it? To that I will say, maybe because at this point I've noticed that NOBODY ever says they come here for flaming wars, drama, or sarcastic put downs, I think I've made my point.

If anyone should disagree you know where to find me, and if you're smart you won't bring more drama to the forums in the form of flames, or smart remarks.

1. 3DGWolf and I have already talked it out privately by PM, and acknowledged that it was a misunderstanding...without anyone else's help (including yours). I didn't see any drama here...what I saw was a simple misunderstanding, which was talked out without any flaming, and then resolved in private message.

2. Then if you interpreted my posts that way, then you misread the context too.

3. I'm sick of this. You're exercising a clear double-standard here. First, you talk (earlier) about how you drew away from this place because of all the "drama", and then, after a few days where NOTHING went on between 3DGWolf and I (and it didn't get worse than a simple misunderstanding), you decide to post in such a way as to drag out the misunderstanding, and even encourage it (just look at the very last things you said in your latest post...again, a double standard at work).

4. Whatever. I really should have known better than to be lured into such a discussion.

Flame away. I'm out of here, and I won't play into it any further.

OK...I'll just get back to the point of this topic...Heh heh...

I come here to:

1) Post fanfics and read the comments on them

2) Talk to friends

3) Do whatever I can to up Balto fandom (petitions, etc.)

And that's pretty much it. Yes, I feel very at home here.

I would have appreciated a PM as I said in my previous post. I have sent you one regarding this matter.

Now back to topic.....

XD I have no idea I've only been here 2 days lol. But sending in fan art keeps me coming mostly.
