Wow what do you know, were on the verge of another yelling war, woopy....
Seems I cannot even express an opinoin anymore.
Jack your calling people dumb, which is a pretty dumb thing to say, no offense to you but come on, nobodys dumb for letting go of something. And in some of the games like the fishing games, you have to fling the controller about and it is likely to fall out if after a few sing the strap breaks. Nintendo themselves admitted that the straps were badly made!! It was in the newspaper, if they can get over it, why can't you?? It was a very, very poorly made strap, which has been fixed.

McDonalds also admitted their food makes kids obese (sp?). So whats your point? They are completely different cases, you dont wave coffee around, because your playing a game which requires you too do.

Thank you for proving my point, and its a persons fault for eating there...also part of human error, which is why the lawsuits didn't make it in court bub.. McDonalds got in trouble because someone spilled coffee and said "Oh it was hot"...but isn't it hot coffee? The Wii Remote is NOT MENT TO BE SWUNG LIKE A COMPLETE IDIOT. It was a warning when you played the games before the incidents started. But people still did and look what happened. You cannot blame the company when the person does something stupid.

Firstly never say bub again, secondly your not getting the message, they admitted that it was their fault!? Are completely blind!!! If you see the commercials for Wii they are swinging the thing round like complete idoits!! Sometimes you have to do that, and the strap is so badly made that it snapped, they admitted it, why can't you!! It was a silly mistake which has been fixed, why are you so arragont that you have to keep defending a lost cause!!!

As I said McDonalds also said the coffee was hto. Just because you admit it doesnt make it the company's fault. I guess its the airbags fault your child suffocated during impact....Fact of the matter..some things are out of someones control and idiots need to find something to make a big deal about. I know what I'm talking abot here...

Yes but did McDonalds have such badly made coffe cups that they fell apart and let the coffe fall out? I think not. But anyway, this should be locked, firstly its not a huge problem, secondly Eclipita only did this because he hates the fact PS3 is not doing better then Wii, and also Wii is fantastic, so somebody should lock this.

No but the person dropped the cup...and it spilt on them...everyone knows if u drop hot coffee it will burn you..just like if you let go of a remote it will break things...common sense...

Yeah, I saw that in the newspaper here. XD
Some girl was playing & the Wiimote fell off her wrist, it flew into her, [I think it was] 50-something inch TV. Anyway, it broke, I thought it was funny. XD
I guess both [The company and the girl] are at fault, the girl was, well, being an idiot and swinging it around too hard, but Nintendo admitted that the cords were too thin, but still, it's not like there's something wrong with the whole game system, or anything. XD

I heard about this yesterday.
In my opinion, this is absolutely appalling. Nintendo should have checked and tested all of this! I hope that the people who have bought faulty Wii should get full compensation and their money back. These things are really expensive.
Apparently they've all sold out over here. I'm not so interested in them right now. Maybe later on when they're cheaper.. and not so dangerous.
I don't think that what happened with the girl in your newspaper is very funny at all.. but that's just me.

They didnt have their testers set to idiot mode...They did..they have bene working on the Wii for a long time. Pfft Money back...thats poor buisness..the system is amazing and it is nto Nintendo's fault. Expensive..these are cheap..250$ is quite cheap for an electronic of this magfnitude.
My store (gamestop) gets shipments eveyr week. Theysell out in seconds. They already havce replacement straps for free online..and all the december issued consoles have the new strap. So they are "safe"
