Does that make it right?

And incidentally, while boys can be aggressive and brusque, I have seen girls capable of being meaner, cattier, and crueler than most guys. And generally more manipulative. When they're teenagers.

Yes, that's very true. Both are as bad as eachother. And no, that doesn't make it right, but it doesn't make it wrong either. Teenagers will always say things they don't mean, alot! And I don't run my school; that's just how it is. I can't do anything about it

It's how teenagers are mate. Mixed feelings are occuring; due to hormones etc. etc. Which makes us all go crazy The word 'hate' is just a word, that is used alot. I hate a fair amount of people; due to severe bullying. Some people in my school piss me off to breaking point. But I seriously don't think that me hating anyone would make much difference. I'm a very, very weak persdon, and I find it extremely difficult to hurt someone - mentally or phisically, even though I keep my gob shut

It's how teenagers are. That doesn't make it at all right. But that's just...how we are. Case closed

Hormones are one part of the very heart of this. The other is the fact that, while the word "hate" is - in fact - just a word, we're talking about more than just the word. We're talking about the emotions behind it (or "annoyance", based upon the amended opening post). Either way, that cannot be as easily dismissed as the words themselves. Hate is a very powerful emotion, and annoyance, while not as bad, can also lead to hate and/or some bad results.

If you ask me, we all need to learn a little more emotional discipline. And today's teens and pre-teens, who are accustomed to a very permissive and liberal society ESPECIALLY.

Aye, I agree. 'Hate' is very strong, but teens don't know how strong. Yes, Hormones are one of the main reasons, as I said, they give us powerful, and downright frustrating emotons. I don't think teenagers can help this, because we don't really think about what we say. We just say it, without thinking. ^.^

its only a word, there is no need to take it offensively or in any other way, plus we're not saying a word that should never be said, anyway, i apologised earlier when people where getting annoyed, so there is no need to keep getting on about it. i don't mean BS. but everyone, we should just get on with the topic, besides, at the beginning of the post i said don't flame people or start a flame war, if all we're gonna do is argue, we might aswell not post.
i do know how strong the word is but at the time i had come into the house crying because someone whom i "strongly dislike" had upset me badly, i didn't think at the time and carelessly wrote "hate". i have apologised and do not know anything more that is expected of me.

My ex-girlfriend, I found out she was the reason why me and my other ex had to break up so I broke up with her. I'm scared to go out with someone now because she'll start stalking me!

I get very annoyed when people don't answer my e-mails. E-mail is not that reliable- how am I supposed to know they go the e-mail if they don't reply?

I also get annoyed at people who think Kermit is horrible

The three girls who went with me to France.. they all got very close.. I drifted away. Now our little 'group of eight' has split into five and three.

And my one and only enemy is Aiden. One of the three girls' soon-to-be boyfriend. He's the most annoying person I have ever met with a sick humour. His way of creating jokes is by insulting - cruely insulting - other people. I was really ill for a day in France and he decided to reinact how I nearly fainted in front of ten people at school. Also, I sent the Alaska 'Save the wolves' petition by email to all in my address book - including that idiot - and he then stood up in my Science class the next day saying there's millions of wolves why both signing that stupid petition. He went on about how sad I am for liking wolves and how horrible they are.

I don't like to have enemies but believe me, Aiden is one. He's done worse but I won't go on.

seriously! why do we have to hate in this world? huh? do we not all go through hard times? do we not all get up in the morning and brush our teeth? huh? well I want to know becuase this is just wierd I'm not going to make a big deal but some one please tell me why we have to hate others?
