It wouldnt matter, if they try chocolate they crave it. They are not at any risk so long as they dont eat a toxic amount.

You should look up a chart or something, it tells you what amounts are toxic for your dogs weight.
I didn't give her the chocolate, she took it from the table.

They should be, but you can't stop your dog from taking something while your not looking. People who give their dogs chocolate on purpose, or as a treat, are complete idiots.

I KNOW THAT! I said that your not supposed to induce vomiting, just like if a person swallows bleach, it makes it worse!
You must think I'm a complete idiot.

Hello!! I'm the one here listing off sites using Chemistry that you dont even understand!! And all you'r saying is my vet said it didnt matter how much they weight or how old they are they'll just die if they eat chocolate.
Go look it up and you'll find the same thing.

Well bleach is poison to us, and chocolate is poison to dogs, so it's kind of the same.
If your dog eats a toxic amount, your supposed to call the 'emergency vet' for them right away, and not induce vomiting. Maybe our vets are telling us different things, I wonder which is right.
Aluewolf --> If we were wrong, my dog would of died, or at least gotten sick from eating that chocolate, but she didn't, she was perfectly fine.
