She is very smart but stubborn

That is a lot of money for a puppy. But i would pay any amount for an adorable puppy like Raven!!! She is sooo cute!!! Have fun training and getting close to her!!

Some purebreds run a lot higher than that. And the designer mixed breeds "cockapoos", "yorkipoos", and various "toy" versions of bigger breeds, etc. are even worse (some topping $1000.00).

Milo, my regular-sized Australian Shepherd, ran $900.00 from one of THE premier Aussie breeders (http://www.montroseaussies.com) for him to be a companion dog. Were he going to be used as a stud dog or a show dog, he would have cost a heck of a lot more.

I've heard bulldogs can go over $2,000.00. Breeders always claim that their costs ONLY reflect what it costs to successfully birth a litter, and get it checked for any anomalies, disease, etc. from a good vet. And yet, they charge ridiculous fees for certain breeds. So I don't tend to believe breeders.

Still, I like purebreds better than mixed breeds...and CERTAINLY better than any "designer" breed.

I'd still pay whatever the amount was if I wanted that dog bad enough. Wouldn't you?

Yeah, purebreds are so expensive now. My aunt payed £600 each for her German Shepherds. That's about $1200 each.

Archie, adopted from a shelter is a mixed breed and he cost just £60.
