I found the glowing effect to a side of enjoyable, but if it was me who directed the movie, I would of kept the transformation true to the book; warping, changing, resizing the bones to house the new body, etc..
Honestly, The glow affect is what immediately took me out of the expirence...I thought they really overused that.

It's just a metaphor for the two worlds Vivian is struggling between.
Blood - Her werewolf pack
Chocolate - Aiden (humans)

Hmm, well to all you you that cant decide whether or not to read the book or watch the movie first... it doesnt matter.
I finished the book awhile ago (It was great) But Its NOTHING like the move. The whole storyline is different. Unfortunatly... But yet, From what I Read and saw. Both of them were excellent! =D
(Personally, I like the book better xD because I read that first... before I saw the movie sooo... anywho)

Quote: But Its NOTHING like the move. The whole storyline is different. Well, I that isn't all true. The same general plot is still there, though faint. The sad thing of it all was that the author, Annette Curtis Klause, wasn't updated with the progress of the film. Quote: If anypone liked Blood and Chocolate heres a link viewtopic.php?t=12381
Interesting... I would join but I've got my RP to worry about, which is Knights of the Moon. It's inspired by the Blood the Chocolate book.
But two things you should know:
1) In respect to the book and the movie, the proper name for the werewolf race is loup-garou or loup-garoux. I suggest the you use that instead of "wolf/human hybrid."
2) Your RP is in the Balto RP. It should be in the Other RP.

You can't. You'll have to tell a Mod.

It probably could stay in the Balto Roleplaying form since it does have to do with wolves. Several other B&C forms are in that section.

evanescence wrote: It probably could stay in the Balto Roleplaying form since it does have to do with wolves. Not really... actually, nowhere close. The movie, and thus Selene's role play, is about werewolves. They just happen to be a type that their alternate form resembles/are wolves and not the wolf humanoid beast. evanescence wrote: Several other B&C forms are in that section.
Please be kind enough to give a link to them because, other than Selene's, I didn't see any within the five pages of the Balto Role Play section.
Either way we can't do a thing. My powers on the forums don't exceed your and yours mine. It's up to the Mods to decide what should be done with the Blood and Chocolate role play.

Yeah, this looks good. The reputation for wolves doesn't appear too bad anyway.. I'll probably have to get it when it comes out on DVD as I can't imagine any one going with me to see it at the cinema.

Hehe, actually I asked around at school today and most of the guys actually think it looks pretty good. A couple of my friends might see it with me.. but it looks like the sort of movie you'd have to watch at home.. in my opinion.
