Tell me about it. People always are pming me going hi,wutts up, i think ur nice,can u talk to me,do ya wanna talk,wutts ur name, and all those retarted ones. *SrryXD* Anyways yes and it annoys the crap outta me. and just like tibby said, after they see this they should know we are on to them.

Making an "ignore" list would be too much trouble, especially considering that I would have to modify both the forums and site code.
But I think that most of these PMs come from only a few spammers. So I guess the solution would be to tell the moderators about these spammers, and they'll take care of this. (either with warnings or bans)

how bout a perminent ban? Would that be too harsh?

I agree. I recently got one from Emo too, all it said was 'Hey.' I can't tell you how mad that makes me! I usually just ignore them and they stop. I think they want you to get mad at them.

The problem with ignoring these people, folks, is that, if no one tells them how much of a problem it is for them to do this, then they're going to keep right on DOING it. Someone - preferrably a mod or even Steet, needs to PM these people and explain that they cannot do this.

Or, and I think THIS would be a bit harsh, a rule should be created to not allow that kind of PMing from people. Or a mod needs to be assigned, to whom people can report this kind of PM abuse, so that said mod can deal with it. It's really kids and young teens who are doing this. Dumb though it may be...

If you don't nip it in the bud, it will NEVER stop. We know there are certain repeat perpetrators. We can start by going after them.

Umm I don't think that an ignore list would make the life "easier"...Because are some "crazy minded" people who are spamming and such,and when a Mod will warn them they'll notice the Mod's name and they'll "ignore" or block them so they won't be able to PM(the Mods)...It's what I think.
