Tara nodded and hugged Chase tight.

Carmen glanced into the mirror, then squinted when she didn't see anything. "Where'd they-" she was cut off then one of the cars pulled up beside them.

Shane awoke with a huge jolt when the car spun, and he held onto Zacky for dear life, squeezing his eyes shut and gritting his teeth to keep from screaming. When the car started to roll, he couldn't help but scream, "Daddy!"

"Wait-!" shouted Carmen when the car swerved, holding onto the seat and the car door when the car started to roll down the hill.

Kyler couldn't breathe for a moment then she saw the car pull up beside them, then when they halfsided she held onto Damien, the only thing she could find, and had his arm and shirt in a death grip.

Tara tried creating an air current to slow them down, and it worked until she lost control of it from shock.

Carmen shielded her face with her arms from the windshield glass, seeing how it broke in the corner of her eye. She tried reaching out to catch him but it was too late, he had already rolled off the hood and hit his back against a tree. She held on to her seat until the car came to a stop. She knew she was probably cut and bleeding but she knew she could take care of herself, instead she turned around the best she could in her seat. "Oh my God," she said. "Is everyone okay?!" she asked frantically.

Shane lifted his eyes and looked around, the windshield broken and the doors basically smashed in. He bit his lip and tasted a bit of blood in his mouth. He looked up at Zacky. "Are you okay?" he asked, eyes wide with worry.

Kyler finally dared to open to eyes that have been squeezed shut from the impact. She heard Damien say something about hitting his head and looked up at him, seeing a large, bloody bruise on the siide of his head. "Dame, you're bleeding." she whimpered.

Carmen's door was pretty much hanging off the hinges, so she quickly got out and, despite a huge pain in her leg, hurried to Chase's door and took the handle. She pulled as hard as she could, and it finally just fell off.

Shane tasted a little more blood and he mumbled, "I think my mouth's bleeding..."

Kyler tore off a strip of fabric from her shirt sleeve and folded it up, then dabbing it against his wound. "Does anything else hurt?" she asked.

Carmen stood a little ways away behind Chase, feeling herself choke up but quickly swallowing the lump in her throat. Now was not the time to be vulnerable. Her eyes scanned for any sign of the people in the black cars, not seeing any sign of them just yet. Perhaps they thought they were dead.

Shane felt around in his mouth with his tongue, then reached a finger in to the side of his mouth. He took it out and said, "I think I got a tooth knocked out."

"Yeah," Kyler nodded, "I'm... perfectly fine, actually." she said, even surprising herself.

Carmen lifted her head at the sound of her name, then hurried over. She bent down at Chase's side. "Is he.." she couldn't manage the final word as it seems to get caught in her throat.

Shane nodded, then mumbled, "I hope I didn't swallow it.."

Kyler turned to face Chase and Carmen, who were outside the car. "I'm kindof scared to go out and look..." she said, thinking the worst.

Carmen shifted in place so that she was kneeling by Dee's arm. "I'll do that, you make sure he's still.. y'know." She explained as she thought of a way to fix his arm.

Kyler nodded and gulped. "I really hope there's no need to..."

Carmen gently lifted Dee's arm and ran her fingers along it, trying to find where it had broken.
