Mara sighed, thinking about her mate. "Your father... He was a lovely lion... I hope he's still alright. He was the son of a king of another pride. We fell in love and became mates, but then his father returned. He banished me and Kani from the pride because his son with betrothed to another lioness. I became pregnant just before I was banished, so the cub should be born soon." Mara smiled at Zula. "Twins? I'm not sure. Triplets? I'm sure there won't be three cubs," Mara said. "Please don't tell anyone at the moment, since I don't want Kani to feel neglected."

Rakhi was feeling uncomfortable from some days. She had some strange movements in her body, but there was no one who could tell her what was the real thing. She always moved here and there, finding nothing else to do except to look around the kingdom.
'What happened?' Taji asked when he saw her. 'You seem to be...annoyed.'
'I don't know.' Rakhi said. She moved away quickly. Rakhi thought to go meet Amani. And she did go to her, and told her the problems. And eagerly waited for her answer.

Maliha thought climbing was great fun. Yes, it felt slightly unnatural, but also so powerful at the same time. Once she reached the top she looked across the lands in front of her. "Wow..." she breathed. "The view is fantastic!"

Alika had her mouth open by the end of the story. "What happens next? Please don't tell me that was the end!"

Uri looked at his sister through a crack in the wall. He had found a little cave and liked spying at the others through the crack. He noticed so many things, including Radhi running quickly away from Pride Rock with a surprised look on her face.

Radhi had given birth to two cubs. She'd told Amani and Bakari previously and so her adoptive mother came down to see her.
"They are so beautiful Radhi! My first grandcubs!"
"Mother, can you go and get Tafari for me please? And Bahati!"
"Of course." said Amani. She walked outside and saw Tafari hovering nervously by the edge of Pride Rock. "They're born. You will be very proud."
She smiled as Tafari took off at great speed towards the Birthing Cave.
"Bahati?" called Amani, then she spotted her. "My friend, your grandcubs are born."
Amani went to follow after Bahati when she was stopped by Rakhi. She listened as she described her feelings.
"Today just keeps on getting better. Rakhi, you're pregnant!"

Uhuru had overheard the conversation. "Wow, so many cubs..." she whispered to herself. "Hey, Mara. How are you doing today?" Uhuru knew that Mara was pregnant too, even though she hadn't officially told anyone. "Look, I know you're pregnant. Your stomach is swelling and you find it difficult to stand up. How long have you known?"
Then Uhuru sighed. "Look, I know we haven't really talked before, but I wish to get to know you more!"

Tafari ran quickly to the birthing cave with his mother at his side,''R..Radhi? my love are you ok?'' He asked and slowly entered the birthing cave his mane covering his eyes.

Bahati walked in after Tafari she couldn't believe it she was now a grandma!

Umeko looked at her mother,''What's wrong with so many cubs? Now my brother and I can have playmates.'' She said excitedly.

Rakhi gasped as she heard Amani. She couldn't believe it. She rushed to Taji. He was lying under a tree.
'Taji! I'm so happy today! You're going to be a father!' She said to him.
Taji got up. 'Really!?' He shouted. And then jumped in joy.

'I heard that Radhi and Tafari's cubs are born. Let's go and see them!'
'Yeah, okay.'
Rakhi went to the birthing cave along with Taji. 'Radhi! Congrats for your cubs! They're so adorable!'
'Indeed!' Said Taji and smiled.

'That probably isn't the end, right?' Aleela said. 'Lyafa, go on!'

"Yes," Moto said, a smile on his face as he saw her wonderment. "It gives you a leg up in a battle to see your surroundings and look for intruders or allies," he added. "Alright, your turn," he continued, turning to Kani. "Remember, feel if it's strong enough to support you and reach far," he instructed, then sat back to watch the young cub climb.

Kesai heard all the news and was happy except, Marija had left without a trace leaving only their son Ibrahim and a note saying he was to raise him. He sighed, since she had left he became reluce and barley left except to care for his son. Today was the first day he had left the little cub following him.

"Thank you sweetie," Mara said nuzzling her daughter. She looked up at Uhuru. "I've known since I arrived here, and I think soon my child will be born, maybe even tomorrow. It was nice seeing you Uhuru, but I think me and Zula should go in." Mara looked back at Zula. "Come on honey, it's getting quite cold."

Kani looked at the rock. He tried to do everything Maliha did, but slipped when he was nearly at the top. "Ugh! I'm stupid at everything!"

Kori wandered around, hoping to find something to do. Then she saw Kensai and his son. "Hey Kensai!" this was the first time she had talked to anyone in weeks. "How are- Who's that cub?"

Iyafa nodded. "Samada became a legend. Some say you can see her in the stars at night," she told Aleela. "She's said to be smiling down at every lion that looks up at her." Finishing the story, she looked up at the sky.

"Don't worry, you'll get better soon. Now, try again," he said, moving forward to place his paw on the young cub's shoulder before pulling away. "Remember to think before you put your weight on it. It's not a race," he added. The cubs were making progress. He remembered when he was a cub, and how his mother pressured him to complete a task.

Maliha looked down at Kani and stuck out her tongue playfully, then leaned over and held out a paw. "Here, when you get back up here, reach for my paw, and I'll pull you up," she said, giving a friendly smile.

When Zula was about to reply she started to look around. Soon she spotted Kani and Maliha playing with each other and turned away to her mother. "Yes, mom..." She faded off. "I wish I had a best friend." She started to walk into the cave.

Mara looked at Zula as they were walking, hearing that she wanted a best friend. "You'll get one soon. Alika, Uri and Umeko will make great friends for you," she said. She picked Zula up as the began to walk up pride rock. Then she placed her at the entrance of the cave. As Mara began to ly down she suddenly realized it was time. "Zula, stay here... Don't leave..." Mara said and went to the birthing cave.

Kani looked up at Maliha. He began to climb again, and did it.

'That was wonderful! I loved the ending!' Aleela said. Then looked at Alika. 'Isn't it, Alika?'
'Yeah, indeed! Wonderful!' Alika said and smiled.
'Well, it's my turn now again. But before the story, Alika and Lyafa, do you what are humans?'

"See? If you try hard enough, you'll get where you need to go," Maliha said, smiling.

"Indeed. Now, remember to practice all your skills so that you can use them if the needs arise," Moto said, smiling at the cubs. "Now, tomorrow, we'll be practicing some fighting skills so be prepared," he said, then stood up. "Now, I think it's time we head back to the cave. Getting down is easier than climbing up. You can either slide down, jump off, or do what you did to get up there-climb," he instructed, then kept a careful eye on them when the started to descend.
