Tommy sighed and said "I know but I trust in both of your guys' judgments. You should trust our sister's more often."

Mina sighed. "Can't we go at least check up on her now?" she asked.

Tommy sighed and said "If you want to then I can't stop you from going back up there."

"Won't you come with me?" Mina asked.

Tommy shook his head and said "I will come up there when Fern needs me. I don't need neither of you two mad at me and that's the best way to settle this without anyone getting hurt."

Fern ran a hair through her hair, but gathered herself up off the bed. She glanced in the mirror and decided she didn't look too bad. She headed downstairs so her siblings wouldn't be worrying about her.

Mina crossed her arms tightly and sat deeper into the couch, unwilling to go by herself.

Fern came down the stairs and into the living room.

Tommy smiled at Fern and asked "How are you, sis?"

"Fern!" Mina said in surprise.

"I'm fine," Fern said with a shrug.

Tommy sighed and asked "Did that wolf leave soon after we did? What did it want anyway I wonder?"

"Yeah, it left a few minutes after you," Fern lied. "I don't knew what he wanted."

Tommy looked at Fern and asked "Why would it do that? Was it protecting you from us or something else? How are you doing? I hope it didn't hurt you."

"I really have no idea what it was trying to accomplish," Fer said. "No, I'm not hurt at all."

Tommy nodded his head and said "Well, I'm going to bed. It's pretty late. Don't stay up to late. Mom and dad won't like it." He went to his room and fell asleep.

"Yeah, I'm going up to bed in a few minutes," Fern said.

"I'm going to bed too," Mina said, standing up from the couch. "I've had too much excitement for one day."

Cody was back in Fern's room and was going through her stuff.
