"erm..."said sam, surprised by his sudden question. "i dont know. Wait her a mo. And close your eyes. " Sam stood up and knelt to make sure his eyes were closed.

Dante closed his eye "WHy? what are you gonna do?"

Sam laughed. " dont worry, i'm not going to do anything to you. your so mistrusting you are." She kissed him and then walked over to her jewellery box. She opened the lid and moved all the jewellery aside. She glancede around to make sure Dante wasn't looking then she opened the false bottom. In there were her secret things she didn't like people to see. There was a heart locket that was her mother and her fathers favourite cufflinks. All so, there was her diary and a little note pad underneath it all. She pulled out the notepad and puit everything back from where she took it from. She went round the back of the bed so Dante wouldn't guess where she had come form. She waited a second as if what she was doing was to be done over there. then she came round the other side and sat next to Dante again. She took his right hand and placed the little book inside it and curled his fingers around it. Then she held his right.

Dante smiled weakly "Can I open my eyes yet?" he said.

"whats up? and yeah you can open your eyes." said sam concerned. Dante didn't seem all that happy. She turned so that when he opened his eyes he would be staring right into hers.

Dante opened his eyes and Opened the notebook, The first song he turned to made him blink "Whoah, good,if slightly depressing,stuff"

Sam ignored what he said. She lifted his head until she was looking into his gray eyes. She searched for any emotion in them. "Seriosly, Whats up?"

Dante looked at her "Sam, Do you know what a Tourniquet is?"

"Yes. A tourniquet is a constricting or compressing device used to control venous and arterial circulation to an extremity for a period of time. Pressure is applied circumferentially upon the skin and underlying tissues of a limb; this pressure is transferred to the walls of vessels, causing them to become temporarily occluded. It is generally used as a tool for a medical professional in applications such as cannulation or to stem the flow of traumatic bleeding, especially by military medics." said sam, reciting from a book she'd once read. "Now stop changing the subject. Whats up?"

"It basiccly stops bleeding" said Dante "Wolves can apply one in extremem circumstances, Obviously not as advanced as a human one but it works ust the same" he said, He shook back teh sleeve of his jacket to expose several scars up his arm, Including a few across his wrist "They work, I know that much first hand" he said "What you wrote reminded me of that, But theres not just the bleeding like blood flowing out of your body, theres the sort of bleeding where your passion, your soul, even your very being seems to eb away." all this time he'd not looked up from his arm "You know what my tourniquet for that is?"

"No..." sam said. She felt uneasy andf didnt know where this convosation would end up. What is he talking about? thought sam.

Dante grined "You" he said And kissed her lightly on the forhead

Sam sat there, feeling surprised yet happy. Sam held Dantes head in her hands like it was very pressuse. "And your mine." she said, then she kissed him on the lips.

Dante smiled and kissed her back

Randal burst in "Dante!"

Sam nearly jumped out of her skin. there in the door way was a very annoyed and disgusted looking Randall. Her view was cut off by Dante as he shifted infront of her as protection." Dante, i can look after myself." she hissed at her protector.
