"Vetch," Rue began hesitantly. "You can't help us by yourself. You're way outnumbered. We won't go back to the trees after this anymore, I promise," she finished. Her violet eyes looked taken aback, and slightly sympathetic, a emotion she tried hard to keep hidden, knowing Vetch would hate her to look at him like that.

Vetch looked at the ground, staring angrily at the ground. Stupid ground... he thought. He didn't have to look to know that Rue was looking at him with some kind of expression. Without even lifting his head, he growled, "Stop looking at me like that, Rue..."
Nook, in an attempt to comfort his friend, almost brother, got closer to him and said quietly, "Don't put so much pressure on yourself."

Rue's tail brushed against Vetch's side as she turned her violet eyes upward, not looking at him. "You don't have to be responsible for us. I can take care of myself."

"You say that," Vetch growled. "But if anything happens to either of you...I'll...I'll never forgive myself..."

"I feel the same way, Vetch, but you don't see me pitching a fit about it!" Rue said. "So let's just go to the trees, and ask them for help. It will be the last time, I promise."

"Fine." grumbled the brownish sabretooth tiger. He nudged Nook over to the direction the trees were in, and started walking. "I guess we can stay there for a little bit." he mumbled.
Nook squealed as he looked at some small shadow in the distance. "What's that?" he squeaked.

Rue's violet eyes flashed as they locked onto the shadow. "Dunno," she muttered slowly.

A small, squeaky voice, much like Nook's, called out to them. "H-Hello? Are you lost?" Suddenly, a little red fox, the same size as Nook, appeared from the darkness.
"Who the heck are you?" Vetch asked rather rudely.
The little fox lifted his head in pride and stated, "My name is Nudge, son of Nudd and Midge."

"Creative name," Rue murmured into Vetch's ear. With no hesitation, she decided to answer. "I'm Rue. This is Vetch, and Nook."

Ooc:// Feel free to bring in more characters if you wish.
"Hi!" Nudge said in a chipper way.
Vetch growled in Rue's ear, "Why should we trust this guy?" and proceeded to stomp over and pick up Nudge in his mouth and carry him away. "I'll be back when this is taken care of." he snarled.

"Vetch! You don't have to take him away!" Rue said, sounding slightly exasperated.
"What are you doing with Nudge?" The demanding question came from a maned wolf. She rushed over to the small fox.
Ooc:// Is it okay if she knows Nudge?

Ooc:// Yeah sure!
Vetch turned around, then dropped the small fox. "You know this kid?"

"Yes!" The maned wolf said, rather rudely, as she stood protectively over Nudge.
"And you are?" Rue asked expectantly.
"I'm Takari," she said, brown eyes glittering angrily.

Nudge stepped out from under Takari. "It's okay, he wasn't going to hurt me!"
"Don't be so sure..." growled Vetch under his breath.
Nook walked up to Nudge. "Is...is that really you?"
Ooc:// I' going to make Nudge know Nook, if that's ok with you.

Alright.
Takari looked at the small fox. "Nudge? Do you know him?"
Maybe Rue should know Takari...just to give me something to post about. XD
