Nightstar and Ohzu both had to laugh at that. Then Ohzu paused, glancing at the sun. "Tribe of the Stars! I'm gonna miss the Lunch Patrol! My first hunt as a full Hunter, you know!" And without another word, he dashed out of the river and towards camp. Nighstar turned to Silversnow, then stepped out and shook most of the excess water off her pelt. "He's probably right, we should get going."

Silversnow stepped out of the water and shook her pelt, sending droplets flying in every direction.

Dodging the droplets, Nightstar began the trek back up to camp. What a fun morning it had been! Tribe of the Stars knew what adventures awaited in the afternoon.

Silversnow ran after her friend, her long legs making up the small distance quickly. "That was fun!" she exclaimed,happy about how good the morning had turned out. She hoped the afternoon would be just as fun, or even better, more fun.

"Yeah," Nighstar agreed, slightly distracted. The two wolves continued up the mountain in silence for a while. "Hey, Silversnow," Nighstar began. She wanted to ask something, but she changed her mind. Instead, a different question came out. "Have you seen David? I haven't seen him at all, all day." It was true, she realized, but she still felt a bit uncomfortable.

"No, I haven't," Silversnow said. Her eyes narrowed and she cocked her head. "Wonder where he is," she said thoughtfully.

Nightstar shrugged as they returned to camp. "Why don't you go find him? I need a nap, anyway. Wind down a bit, you know?" And with that, she padded into the Fighters' Den and curled up to rest.

Silversnow shrugged and walked through the camp, looking for David.

David found her first, and smiled. He padded over to her, glad to see her, but feeling a bit awkward at this.

Silversnow smiled shyly back as David beamed down on her. She felt as if he were lightong up the area, but she was at a loss for this ecounter. She liked him, but felt awkward and uncomfortable even thinking about it.

"Hi Silversnow, what have you been doing?" David started off, noticing her still wet fur.

"I was swimming,"Silversnow said, wishing that this wasn't so uncomfortable. "What about you?

"I was out hunting solo fo a while," he said, wishing the same thing as Silversnow was.

Nightstar awoke and stretched, feeling refreshed. She exited the den, glancing around the camp. It was nearly deserted, except for a few apprentices tumbling around just outside their den. "Hey," scorned a harsh voice from behind Nightstar. She turned around. Aqua-Amethyst stood there, the usually jealous and annoyed expression painted across her face. Nighstar sighed. "What do you want, Aqua?"

TIme had passed, and David finally said goodbye to SIlversnow.

"Well, bye," David said, taking a step back.

"Bye," Silversnow said in return, and he raced off, leaving her staring at where he had left, feeling regretful and still uncertain and awkward.

Aqua laughed, hints of cruelty wavering in her voice. "Do you really want to know my greatest wish?" She spat. The oddly-colored wolf leaned in close to Nightstar's ear. "I want...oh, Tribe of the Stars, I want...I want you to dead!" She back off abruptly laughing maniacally. And suddenly, all taunting turned to seriousness. "Mark my words, white pup. I will kill you. One day, I'll have you alone in the forest, and I will kill you." She stalked off, cruel giggles returning to her strained voice. Nightstar watched her leave, using all her energy to keep from leaping angrily onto the other wolf.

Silversnow chose that moment to walk back to camp, seeing Nightstar standing, staring at, something, angrily. "Nightstar?" Silversnow asked, walking closer o her white friend.

"Hey, Silversnow," Nightstar replied hotly. Realizing how harsh it sounded, she apologized as swiftly as possible. "Sorry, Silversnow. Aqua's just been giving me a bit of trouble again." She pawed at the scars that traced her muzzle which Aqua has given her a few seasons ago.

"What did she say, or do, this time?" asked Silversnow, her voice slightly worried, remembering her own thin scar.

"Oh, just the usual...wishing me dead and threatening to make that happen." Nightstar replied casually. Now, that would normally be quite a bad situation, but she and Silversnow where so used to Aqua's threats that though they were annoying, they where almost amusing.
