Ooc: Alrighty, lets revive this rp. Sorry I've been busy 'n stuff and was waiting to see if anyone else would post ^^'
Opal sighed as she watched the others leave. She looked over her shoulder at the remaining people left with her, and shut the door. "Okay... I think we have some wood in the shed in my backyard, and some nails.. who'll help me board these windows up?" She headed towards the back door of her house, then paused and opened it a tiny bit to peep outside. she squinted as sunlight flooded in. the garden was clear, as it should be, since it was day-time. but Opal was still paranoid. She quickly flung the door open, bolted across the garden, and ripped open the shed door.
She grabbed the hammer, wood and nails, and slammed the door behind her with her foot. she couldn't help but chuckle as she noticed the shed door has been locked and that the lock had been torn out of the damaged door when she opened it, just before she sprinted back inside her house, shutting the door behind her. She was a little out of breath by the time she came back into her lounge room.
"Okay, I got the stuff" she said, putting it down on the ground.

Noah happened to notice a pickup that looked to be in workable condition. "Hey guys, hold up," he called to the others and ran over to it. The door, surprisingly enough, was unlocked, but there were no keys in the ignition. Everything inside, which appeared to consist of cans, motorcycle and trucking magazines, and old fast food containers, was covered by a layer of dust. Part of him rebelled at what he was considering, but the plain fact was there was nobody else there, and they'd have a much better chance of surviving with a good set of wheels. Besides, they were going to take supplies from abandoned stores without paying for them either. He turned to the others. "Anybody know how to hotwire this thing?"

Lia watched the other group run off. She was very angry because of the fact she had to stay here and do nothing, but she knew one thing; She wouldn't be much useful if she would go. She knew her personality well, and she knew that in situations like this she does very little work and very much standing and watching. She also knew why she didn't do anything. She was afraid to ruin everything, so she rather didn't try. It wasn't a fear of rejection, it was fear of the feeling of failure. Lia was an idealist, she knew it, and any kind of failure would be hard to take for her.
Lia watched Opal leave for a moment and go back with various tools; a hammer, wood and nails. She knew why she had bring them there, but she didn't bothered to do anything for now. Well, unless someone would ask her to help or do something.
The girl's thoughts were far away, but it wasn't about how pointless everything was. She knew that complaining won't do anything. Hope won't do anything, believing won't either. Her mind was focused on the survival thought. She was thinking of ways to survive.

Angelica alked up to the truck. "you gt a drivers liicence?" she joked, wich was odd for her. she looked at Connie, who was growling at a garbage can. Angelica walked over to her, confused. "racoon?" she asked, Connie still growling, she lunged at the garbage can and a small thing tumbelled out. "oh, my god!" she said and grabbed a branch off the nearest tree and hit it on the head and the little thing fell over. "little, stupid thing!" she said.

OOC: Someone should see to Jack's leg.
Noah snatched the first thing available, a rock, and raced over, but the creature was already dead. "It looks even uglier than it did when it was alive," he remarked. "What is it anyway? A chupacabra?"

Noah blew a low whistle through pursed lips. "I was just being facetious," he murmured. He bent down. "There were thought to be two kinds of chupacarbras, one that looked like a mutant dog and one that looked like... well, these things." He took his spear and laid it across the animal's neck just to be safe. "But are those holes for sucking blood? They look more like venom outlets to me."

Angelica shrugged. "maybe. could be for both. maybe once the venom is in, it goes to another socket somewhere. and then it can suck out blood and feed." she sugested.
Connie growled at it. ugly thing! she thought.

Noah frowned, picked up the limp-bodied animal, and dumped it in the garbage can. "Well, never mind," he said. "We've got to keep moving if we want to get those supplies."
