"Marked territory." he growled. "I forgot th Northern Territory belonged to a pack. And they're not very happy with uninvited guests." he sighed. "We'll have to go around their territory. Well, unless we want to end up looking like that carcass."

"Hehe. Funny." Russet spat sarcastically.

"Yeah, but when it's your life in danger, I'm not going to be laughing." he growled and stormed off in front of her, not even caring if he got lost himself.

Russet snapped at her, "Well when it comes to wolves, dark humor isn't funny! And we've all known that for a long time." He whispered the last sentence.

Russet stood, tense and fuming. He relaxed a bit and whispered, "I'm sorry..." before walking off, his ears laid back.

Tomoyo relized that moping around was no good so she stood up and decided to go hunting.She ran for the woods, her emotions growing worse along with the pain.She sighed and looked down patheticly, self pitty was the worse to her."Stop.." She whispered to herself as she heard Russet growling and ranting at her friend.She decided to stary away from them, it wouldn't be a good idea for her to get caught crying.She looked back at the house and caught eyes with Dahs, no one knew that she hunted alone.She began running quikly, her eyes shifting back at the house every few strides.Soon she made her way to her meadow, where she first hid when the family moved out of the mansion.SHe looked at the two places, so close but so different.One wild and free, one civil and captured.She looked down and went farther into the forest.

Russet smiled a bit and licked her nose. He noticed they were near the mansion again, so Russet decided he'd just eat some other day.

Tomy ran deeper in the woods, small voice from all around began to cave in "YOu belong here, you are the great leader...!" A small voice said while others mentioned power and strength, and even love and loss."Stay...." Another voice said."No!" She said, stopping "I have a home!" SHe screamed, then stopped."This is my purpose...to be a wolf, not a dog." She whispered to herself.She looked down, wolf tracks were infront of her.She placed her paw in it and relized it fit, it fit perfectly.She dipped her head then swung it up slowly into a howl.Not some dog's howl, a real wolves' howl.She collapsed at the second she released it, music that was never there played in her head, memories that weren't hers showed as music videos to the songs.

Bruce smiled as his owner petted him on the head.

"Well Bruce my boy, the big fight is tomorrow.." Said his owner.

Bruce whinned softly and rested his head on his owner's lap, thinking about his family.

"You're thinking about them aren't you? Well, it's behind us now.." Muttered Bruce's owner, he then smiled when he saw the look in Bruce's eyes. "Hehe, look at ya...it seems like only yesterday I saved ya from them wolves." Added Bruce's owner, giving him another pet on the head.

Bruce smiled again as he recieved the pet, when he wasn't out on the streets, a side of him opened up, a nice side.
