Sunfire looked at Freefall, standing on three legs with a baby dragon asleep in his raised one, and the way he was smiling almost made her smile as well. 'Well I have no idea who he belongs to, and don't you dare think about keeping him, that would be...weird, especially for me if you know what I mean' she said, but not in an angry or nasty way, just gently.

Wolfbane just smiled and sort of laughed at himself. He then sighed heavily and slightly shook his head. "Snow..." He then stopped himself. What did I just say? he asked himself. Did I just give her a nickname, or...a pet [/i]name? I must be going insane![/i] He then smiled even more and laughed again, feeling nervous, and slightly turned away blushing. If she thinks it stupid, then I must be feeling super stupid too!!! he quickly added, mentally slapping himself.

"I`m thinkin about it." Said FreeFall cheekily. "Besides, he`s practically skin and bone." He added, taking the hatchling back to the cave on his back. He gently set the hatchling down and then put a big chunk of meat next to it, then walked out of the cave, all the fire clan members were staring at the sleeping baby dragon curiously.

The hatchling awoke, he saw the meat and gobbled it up, he ran outside and started chasing after a butterfly, he then bumped into FreeFall.

FreeFall looked down at the baby dragon and smiled. "You know, he needs a name, he`s one of the clan now." He said then paused for a moment. "How bout, ummm, uhh...I got none, any suggestions?"

'I don't want to get involved with this, once you name it, you want to keep it, and if you keep it, it means...well' Sunfire started, and then put her head closer to Freefall's and whispered 'it would mean you are a dad'. She pulled her head away, but could help saying 'but I rather like the name Mistclaw'.
Snowspirit giggled to herself. He is so cute when he blushes she thought, and then started blushing as well. 'If I'm Snow, then you are...Wolfy' she said softly. She took a deep breath in her mind, and then stepped forwards and licked Wolfbane on the tip of his nose. She stood staring into his eyes for a while afterwards, her face glowing red with embarrassment.

"Hmph, well my dad failed to take care of me when I hatched, I know how this hatchling feels and I guess it won`t be too hard, and Mistclaw shall be his name." Replied FreeFall, watching Mistclaw climb up onto his head.

'Your dad didn't exactly fail to take care of you, he just kept it a secret that's all' Sunfire said, also watching Mistclaw, but her face was full of apprehension. 'So you aren't going to give it to someone else who actually knows how to look after a baby dragon, you are going to keep it yourself' she said, turning her gaze to Freefall, 'and how do you think it would feel to one day find out in it's life that it was adopted and has no mother?'

"I will keep him and raise him, and uh, I`m not sure how he`ll feel, but when the right time comes, I`ll tell him, he`s too young to understand now." Replied FreeFall.

Wolfbane sort of laughed half to himself before nuzzling back and wrapping Snow with his neck in what was supposed to be a hug. He then sighed heavily with content, knowing that this was definately what he was feeling, and what he had been feeling, all along. "Snow," he said in the softest and gentlest whisper possible. "I...I love you...."

(It's fine by me, I just want to put my last post before we skip, and Avatarcat- that post was so SWEET!!!)

Snowspirit almost gasped, but managed to hold it inside her throat. 'I-I love you too, yes...' she whispered back, nuzzling Wolfbane and licking the side of his face. She felt like her world was perfect, no other event in her life felt as good as this one, and she didn't want it to ever stop. Yes, I love you, I always have, I just didn't realize it before she thought, finishing off her sentence in her head, worried that speaking would ruin the moment.
'Well, I don't want to be there when you do tell him, if I get involved with this then I know that I am going to end up getting a soft spot for it, and I don't want to have a soft spot for it' Sunfire said. She looked down at her paws for a few seconds, and then gave Freefall a quick nuzzle under his chin before turning round and walking towards the den.

ooc: Ok, two months have gone by.

Mistclaw laughed as he jumped into the lake where the other young dragons were, they just glared at him then went to play somewhere else. Mistclaw`s head lowered, he then saw his ''father'' approach him. "Dad, what is wrong with me?" He asked.

"There is nothing wrong with you." Replied FreeFall. 'He is just like me when I was a kid.' Thought FreeFall, sighing. "They just think you`re...different."

"And what is so different about me might I ask?"

"Well," started FreeFall, sighing, he was thinking about telling Mistclaw that he wasn`t really a part of the clan..well he was, but he was not born in the clan, but he then decided that could wait till he was a teenager. "Nothing really, they`re just selfish, why don`t you um, find someone else to play with?"

"Ok dad." Replied Mistclaw, he wonder around, looking for someone to play with when BUMP! His head collided with another`s. She was clearly female. "Uh, sorry, and um, my name is Mistclaw."

"Apology accepted, and my name is Glacia." Replied Glacia.

Wolfbane then took a quick sniff around before thinking back and lokoing into his den, just thinking about Snowspirit like he always did...

Sunfire sat watching her paws in the water. Ever since all the clans had started to come together, she had been getting lessons from a friend of hers. 'Sunfire, are you listening, I said that you are meant to look downstream, not at your feet' came the soft voice from further up the river, and Sunfire smiled. 'I am listening Snowspirit, but surely fishing isn't that hard, all you need to do is stand very still and quiet and then if you see a fish you grab it' Sunfire replied, looking up to see Snowspirit giving her a funny look. They had got a lot closer over there past two months, and they often had a bit of a laugh telling each other about the silly things that their friends did, mainly Wolfbane and Freefall. Although I suppose I can't really call Freefall a friend anymore, he is a lot more than that to me she thought, but she was worried that he might drift away from her because of Mistclaw. But I will not get involved, if I were to have chicks I would not want to adopt them, I would want to have them myself, she stopped herself quickly, not wantig to think about mates or family right now.
Snowspirit sighed, this was going to be impossible to teach Sunfire. They were good friends, but she never listened and was always off in her own little dreamworld. Is it because we are sisters that has brought us closer together, or is it our friends she wondered, and then thought of Wolfbane. He should be away soon, but Sunfire wanted to learn to fish and I shall teach her...eventually. 'Right, you try doing it your way, and tell me if you catch anything, I have to meet someone' she said, before jumping out of the river and walking off to look for Wolfbane.

FreeFall walked up to SunFire and sat beside her. "Do you think I should tell him..today?" He asked, watching Mistclaw and Glacia play, he looked happier than he`d ever been before, and FreeFall didn`t feel that it was right to break the moment, but he wanted to hear Sunfire`s oppinion.

Wolfbane breathed in the fresh air and let it all out before taking off for his own morning flight, preferrably following his usual route over the river. He thought it was always beautiful from above, but he was hoping to see something moer from it each and every single day. He flew down closer to the trees and landed on his usual spot on a large boulder nearest the river. He sat down as he watched it flow by while sensing the presense of the one that he had always wanted to see...

Sunfire shushed Freefall quickly and turned back to the river. With a movement that was almost lightning fast, she ducked her head into the water, and then pulled it back up just as quickly. In her mouth was a fat, silvery fish, which kept hitting the side of her face with its tail. She turned back to Freefall and smiled as much as she dared without dropping the fish. 'Ook wah I goh' she said, and stepped out from the water. She flicked her paws dry, spraying Freefall with a few drops, and then dropped the fish on the grass. I would like to see Snowspirit do better she thought, and grinned at Freefall. 'What was your question again?'
Snowspirit sauntered along the river bank, knowing where he would be, they always met there. She spotted the boulder just ahead of her, and on it was Wolfbane. Right on time she thought happily, smiling to herself, but then another thought came to her head. Should I tell him, now isn't the time, but when. She stepped into Wolfbane's view, and walked up to him. 'Morning, did you sleep well?' she asked, smiling gently at him.
