Abedabun watched Zyayan's face look worried. He thought to himself for a moment. "We can beat him, he's not gonna survive through this fight. We're going to avendge everyone he ever hurt!" Abed got a burst of speed and raced out in front of the pack.
Avalon looked at her friend run freely in front of them and she liked his words. "For my sister!" She looked at Minty and then to Abedabun. "You have a wonderful brother Minty, he is a real friend and lifesaver."

Avalon looked over to Iseta. "Iseta. It's okay, he can't attack us while we're in a grpup this big." She reassured her. Ala knew it wasn't entirely true, he could attack, but not kill.
Abedabun looked toward Azuzephere. "Leader! My den is near. Shall we rest to regain our strength? I have food and water."

"Together we fight!" Avalon looked over.
Abed peered over the snow forward to his den. He thought for a moment but decided against it. "Together we are one. One that will defeat that monster." He knew that if he ran off now, he couldn't come back.

Abedabun nodded and turned to the left more slowly.
"My den is this way." He trotted to a small hole in a log and stumbled inside it. As soon as you were past the log, it opened up into a big cavern. Straw hugged one corner, snow melted from cracks in the roof to for a small stream to drink from, and it was warm. "Come in, there's room for everyone." He called to the pack.

Abed went over to the straw and began digging through it. "Where is he..." He was talking to himself of corse, but Avalon couldn't help but wonder.
"Umm, Abedabun. What are you looking for?" She looked into the straw and saw nothing.
"Nothing, just something I lost, but I can't find him." He peered around the cave. "He doesn't leave, not yet at least. Where is he?" he continued digging.
