Hype sighed, not happy to see Jay again. He sat up on the bed and patted the seat beside him for Poison to sit down. "No, what do you want?" Hype asked the intruder.

Jay tolok a deep breath, avoiding Hypes gaze for a moment as he collected his thoughts and convinced himself that this wasn't as stupid as it seemed. "I think... I think we got off on the wrong foot" he said eventually, eyes flicking back to the younger.

Hype struggled to not roll his eyes, instead resting a hand on Poison's lower back. "I wonder whose fault that is." Hype answered bitterly.

Irritation flashed across Jays face at Hypes mutter, but he hid it expertly "Look, Hype, I don't like you and you don't like me, and frankly you're one of thye most irritating, obnoxious little pieces of s*** I've ever met. I just think, for Runts sake if noone elses, we should at least try and be civil to eachother"

Hype snarled and abruptly stood up, walking over to Jay and standing over him, glaring hard. "Listen here punk-@ss. You can't come up in here trying to convince me to be civil while you're still throwing in your two cents about me. I suggest you don't cross me, and if I hear a single peep about you hurting Runt in any way, I'll have your f*****g head. Got it?"

Jay raised his hand slightly in a gesture of submission "I would never hurt Runt, I've learnt at least one lesson there" he said quietly, looking at Hype with complete sincerity "Besides, I think Runt would decapitate me if I even trie, she seems like she can handle herself" he aded, a hint of a smile coming to his face.

Hype sighed through his nose as he backed out of Jay's face, sitting back down on the bed and glaring at his feet. "She's not as grown-up as she thinks..." he grumbled.
