Princess Anna ~
She looked around the people as they all began to walk away. She let out a breath of relief and walked away. She held David close to her body as she made her way through the massive town. Anna walked over to one of the local markets, she was going to get David a small outfit to where as he slept. She bought some fabric, needle, and thred. She would make her own.

Felix sighed and lay back on the sun warmed roof. It was beautiful. He watched the clouds. He would take Anna up here and then David when he was older. He smiled. It was an amazing place really. He sharpened his knife.

Princess Anna ~
She handed the market her money and walked around a little more. She needed to speak with the craftsman. When she found him she payed him what she owed him for the highchair and crib. Anna looked at the ground then back at David. She loved David so much. She gathered some apple for herself and Layla. Anna grinned down at David as he grabbed a strand of her hair.

Princess Anna ~
She was in the enourmous kitchen, scrubbing the dishes. David was sitting on the other side of her, drying the dishes and putting them into the cupboards. Anna smiled, she was going to give David an allowance for doing his chores and minding his Ps and Qs. Anna looked at the dishwater and smiled. Her hair was in a messy bun but that was all part of life. David hummed a tune as he dried the dishes.

Felix walked in, he had a sword and sheath in his hand. "David, when your done with everything, meet me in the courtyard. Bring this with you." he said and set the sword and sheath down. He smiled and walked out. He wanted his son to be a good swordsman and in order for that to happen, his son needed to practice.

David ~
Yes father. He said and finished drying the dishes. He was given 4 gold coins, thanking his mother, David grabbed the sword and the sheath. David walked to the courtyard, saying his hello's to the older women that knew him as a baby. David met his father in the courtyard. I'm here father.

Felix was talking to the old sword's master. He turned. "David, this man is going to be your teacher. You'll call him master. Today you start your training as a knight. You'll live with the other pages, but they'll still have to cal you highness. Now, I'll leave you two alone." Felix said with a smile. His father had done the same thing to him. The old sword's master looked David up and down. "Well boy, if your half like your father was, you'll be a squire in no time. Then a knight." he said.

David ~
He didn't believe in violence or swords. He listened to his master but felt as though he was a dog. Yes master. He said and it made him feel a little bitter. He was 8 years old and he was to learn to kill people? David looked at the sword and held it in his hands. Feeling the steel on his cold fingers. It was a colder season.

Felix stopped to watch. The master watched the young boy's face. The master smiled, "Don't worry lad, you wont have to kill for many years to come. We are here to train you and prepare you for that day. If it ever does. Now, the first thing you must learn is our code of chivalry," he said.

David ~
But I don't want to fight at all. He said under his breath. He looked up at his master, he knew how most of the students were corrected. Most of them were his friends. David looked at the ground then back at his sword. David gripped the handle of the sword. He thought of his mother and why hadn't the women been trained to fight as well. He didn't question though.
