"Greene, you may pillage the dead on your spare time... But not now." Z'reoth sighed, cradling Haruki's paw with his bare hands, having taken his gauntlets off. If only the heat of his flesh could warm him back to life...

"What does Pillage mean?" The two furries asked in unison, while Pat sat poking Haruki's enormous rump. "How does he get it so big..?" He wondered aloud and greene laughed.

"Yo-You...! YOU...!" Z'reoth seethed in rage at such a silly display. ...Sighing deeply, he ran one hand over his forehead, and looked to them, a smug smile on his face. "Perhaps if you get off your ASSES and stop poking your fingers at HIS, MAYBE you will be able to have a chance to ask him that yourself!" he huffed.

"I'm going to recommend you see an anger management therapist dude." Greene said with raised eyebrows. "Yeah he's dead how would we ask him that?!"

"'The weakest dog barks the loudest'..." he snapped at Greene, insinuating to relate the proverb to him. His eyes turned to Pat slowly, but as they did, they moved to Haruki, and he looked to the ground. "I do not know the answer for that, in truth. Moreover, I have no proof that it shall work. But..." he began, looking to the elevator, "...our hope lies in the Empyreal Relic, and that is all I can say for the time being."
Z'reoth turned away from them then, but as he took a few steps forward, he stopped, and looked over his shoulder. "...Unless you prefer to have your 'precious' friend as a corpse all his life. If that is the case, I know a truly exceptional location where he can be buried." he chuckled, boarding the lift, and adjusting the subordinates to reach the top floor. "Are you two coming, or not." he said, not asked, choosing not to face them.

"Whatever short dude." Greene grumbled lowly, following Z'eroth. He didn't like the guy, never had, but if he could save Haruki..?

"Ack, desist afar from your meddlesome shoving." he grunted, pushing Greene away from him. It was a rather cramped elevator, so like it or not, they were all uncomfortably close to each other, not even inches away. As the shutters closed, it was quickly becoming hard to breathe. "Mmmmph!" Z'reoth groaned, pushing Pat's tail from off his chest. No sooner than he did that, however, Haruki's tail was flung in his face. "Ugh!"

Greene and pat, noticeably taller than the youth had no trouble berating, and weren't at all uncomfortable.

Z'reoth, trying his hardest to compose himself, sneered at the two Furries angrily. It was as though they were using his small height against him! "Very well!" he grunted, and suddenly crawled atop Greene! "I'm smaller than Haruki, so for the sake of convenience, I would take refuge on your head!" he scoffed, sitting down roughly.

Greene flicked his large ears backwards and looked at Z'eroth on top of his head. "A'ight then." He said, glaring at pat who was snickering uncontrollably.

Z'reoth just stared at Haruki, and as time passed, it seemed like he was in his own little world; a place devoid of words, and emotion. ...As his feelings ebbed and flowed wildly, it felt like an ocean current was taking him away; he was being crushed under it, and was drowning in the pain, able to stick his head up for air, but effortless to the cause. ...The silence, slowly, was broken. > Music to Fit the Mood< "Greene?" Z'reoth began, his voice no longer angry, but sad. "...How did you feel about him. ...About... Haruki?" he asked, his inflection crackling with distress. "...All the time, he would sit aside from me and talk about you all day - you were his joy, and his light, it seemed. ...When the darkness was welcomed into my heart, I didn't understand why he felt that way about you; I thought he was crazed..." he said as he pulled his hood off from his head. "...but I was blind, and now I know why he was so happy: ...he was in love." the youth said, clearing his throat. "...And all this time, I never received the opprotunity to adhere to his thoughts... I am such a horrible person--nay. I am a beast..."

Greene flicked his large ears upwards as the elevator doors opened, making them brush against Z'eroth's legs. "Hes in love? Well gee." The Furry mused, obviously oblivious to what the youth was trying to say. "Huh. Wonder why 'ee never told me."

"He's... Never mind." Z'reoth smiled, petting Greene's head as his ears brushed against his pants. "...C'mon, you guys. It's jus' up ahead!" he cheered, and unusually so, as he leapt off from Greene and ran up to the wall the Empyreal Relic was wove through. So optimistic... and so simplistic, also. If only for a moment's time, Z'reoth seemed like a different man...

Z'reoth, with much effort, ripped the Empyreal Relic out of the recess in the wall. It was a beautiful orb that shone of an effulgent green and blue light, brimming with life and dripping with brilliance. Just holding it put warmth to your hands... "We've got it! Now--"
Crash!
A tremor erupted, and the entire construct they stood in now shook wildly and restlessly! This place was collapsing! "Oh no! It cannot be..." Z'reoth gasped, looking at the Relic he now held in his hands. "...So that is it! Darth Vader was using this to fuel this godforsaken place... By me simply pulling it out, this place no longer has the power to sustain itself!" he cried, but shrieked as an unbearable moaning resounded! From up on high, chunks of the ceiling fell, and fell straight for the three Furries!
They would never be able to get out of the way on time!
"NO!!" Z'reoth screamed as he held his gauntlets forward. "Dark Firaga!!"
Harnessing the power of darkness, he summoned forth a sea of shadowy flames to carry the trio away in time, and though the flames licked and bit at their skin, under Z'reoth's command, the spell would not harm them. The situation only worsened now, however, for as Pat, Greene, and the body of Haruki were protected from the impact, a large pillar now stood in the way, and the black-haired youth was separated from his companions!
"Greene, catch!" his voice called as the Empyreal Relic was hurled through the air. Even if Greene had not reached to catch it, the orb of sparkling light seemed to gravitate to his paws - feeling content in the hold of its new master. Once then, a corridor of darkness appeared, summoned by no other than Z'reoth.
"Go! Take the Relic and show it to Cell! He will be able to help you where I could not!" he yelled from afar, struggling to keep the portal open that lead back to the Castle of Games. ...He was depending too heavily upon the dark arts...
"Ah, and... Greene?" he said telepathically to the Furry, and though his voice was quiet, it prevailed over the rumbling of the crumbling Deathstar. "...Tell Egg I said 'Hi.'"
