Kejeli looked at Dogo, "Let's just say your mother did it to me," she lied, knowning full well that they won't know that Merah actually did it, then her attention turned to Adanna, "Well know the brave little cub is now afraid, there is nothing to be afraid of," she chuckled, then her eyes saw Zira, "They were little angels," she said saracastically.

Kiara looked up at her father. "Dad...Zira...she's still alive...she took the cubs."

Simba looked shocked. "Zira...she's...how is that possible?"

"Well he hasn't seen me in awhile," said Zira. "But don't worry, you're just coming to visit me, we'll have plenty of fun," she said, then looked to Kejeli. "Of course," she said. "Merah, please avoid scaring the cubs while we're talking," she said, walking a shot bit away so she and Kejeli could talk.

Kejeli stopped next to Zira, "Zira, should I start heading over there right now?" she asked,


"We saw her fall to her death," Nala said shocked

"I'll take the cubs out to the Outlands," said Zira. "Let Merah reopen your scars and then move on with the plan."

"I know," said Kiara, licking the little cub's head lightly. "It's ok, little one..." she whispered. "We won't hurt you..." she reassured, then looked up. "Mom...dad...what happened to my brother?"

Simba gasped. "Your...your brother...who told you about him?"

Nala's ears flattened, remembering her only son, brought back those horrible memories, "I'll be back," Nala said as tears streaked er face, but it was hard to tell due to the rain.

Kejeli nodded, "Alright," she said turning her head towars Pride Rock


Furahi watched Nala walk off with a sad lock on her face, she then followed her to make sure she was okay.

"Zira said to ask you..." said Kiara, hating to make her mother upset. She nuzzled the little cub.

Simba sighed. "We had a cub named Kopa..." he explained. "...One day...he just disappeared...we searched for hours without finding him...Merah came and told us that she'd seen Zira kill him..." he continued. "When I went to see Zira and confront her about it...she'd already fled the Pridelands with her cubs...we assumed that meant she was fleeing punishment so I made her banishment formal..."

Zira went over to the cubs. "Alright, Merah, I'll take them from here," she said, picking the cubs up by their scruffs. "Let's go, cubs," she said, starting for the outlands.

Merah headed over to Furahi, extending her claws. "Ready?" she asked with a sadistic smirk.

Envy waited patiently under a tree close to pride rock. The very tree where Zira, Vitani, and Nuka had spied on Kovu. She crouched down as she watched the chaos go on at Pride Rock. Lightening lit up the sky numerous times and then she saw Zira leap down from Pride Rock and run towards Kejeli and Merah. Just wait for the signal... She thought, waiting.

Barafu had been watching the events in horror, safely crouched on her perch above the fighting. By the time she had decided to help her pridemates, the fighting was over and the pride had gathered. She jumped down next to them, listening to Simba tell Kiara about Kopa, the dead prince.

"I enjoy this assignment," said Merah, slowly reopenning the scars and enjoying it. Once all the existing ones were openned, she did as Kejeli had asked and slashed her across the shoulder and then the chest. "That enough?" she asked, licking the blood off her claws.

Simba looked down at the cub. "Who is this?"

"I don't know," said Kiara. "He was just...here...little one, where did you come from?"
