Eligh looked curiously at his brother, and sighed.
"Why are you sorry?" he asked, not understanding.

"Cause...Cause.." Zaki stuttered. "...Cause I'm stupid..like that wolf said.." Zaki flattened his ears against his head.

Eligh growled angrily under his breath, and looked at his smiled at his younger brother.
"You're ot stupid Zak, you're just special in your own way, and you ate VERY wise just like mommy and daddy. That wolf was stupid to pick on MY family!!! " he woofed sternly.

Zaki sat down with a heavy THUD. He watched his paws, shuffling them slightly.
"Why'd that wolf want to hurt us?" he asked.

Eligh thought for a moment, and shrugged.
"Dunno... Many he doesn't like mum or dad?" he guessed.

"oh," Zaki nodded, accepting the answer. He looked around, trying to remember which way the den was, as he was having trouble recalling it.

Eligh looked around, and sniffed the air catching his dads scent. He led them home, to find rango and sorren pacing nervously ar the mouth.

Cating sight of the two pup Sorren gasped and ran over them.
"Eligh! Zaki!" she barked as she sniffed them all over for wounds and caressed them. "Where have you BEEN?" she growled with the worried tone of a mother.

Eligh pawed at his worried mother when she licked them, and fluffed his fur out again.
"Were fine Mum, but therewas a really tall wolf who tried ta kidnap us!!" Eligh began." but I got'em "

"Eligh got him good," Zaki agreed with his brother.
"A wolf?" Sorren perked hear ears and looked around. "Where?"

Eligh huffed proudly.
"Way back there... But I got him good momma, he won't come back!!"

"Now WHAT were you two doing way back there?" Sorren questioned, looking down at them.

Eligh smiled shyly at his mother, and thumped his tail lightly on the ground.
"We just went....exploring, that's all...." He admitted, looking to his dad. Rango sighed, and sniffed the air.
"Logan...." he murmered under his breath, barely loud enough for Sorren to hear.

Sorren huffed and moved her way to the back of the pups and began to nudge them to the den.
"You shouldn't go off exploring without at least telling me or your father you're going out," she instructed.

Eligh huffed in objection.
"But if we asked, you would've said No, unless we either take all of the guys or one of you comes with us!! How am i supposed to choose between that?!" He nearly shouted, his little claws digging into the ground.
