Chloe insuingly applied more pressure down on Jake so he couldn't wrestle free. "You ain't gonna win."

"Oh, darn," the pup laughed. "Oh I could use my teeth," he grinned, mainically.
"It's ok," Addi said to Miles, "I've been through a rough patch in my life," she explained, "So I'm kinda easily ticked, and upset for a while,"

Chloe used her other front paw to hold his muzzle shut. "I don't think you'll be using that" she said laughing a little bit."

"That's okay. So what happened?" Miles asked wanting to know more.

"oofmphghs" Jake laughed as he tried to speak.

"If I let go are you gonna bite my paw?" Chloe asked Jake.

"Wow, I'm so terribly sorry abou that." Miles said his mood becoming more depressed at the moment.

"Mpnohhg" Jake tried to say no through her paw.
"it's okay," Addi said, her head hanging down, and a few tears in her eyes/

"I take that as a no" she then let go of his snout but was still holding him down.

"Wish there was something I could do" Miles said.

Jake groaned, "please will you let me up?" he begged, thenlooked to see if Levi was listening in, "I'll get Levi for you if you do!"
"Same here, maybe I could one day go back and get that pack," she said, with her head still down.

"Ooooh I'm scared" Chloe said sarcastically still keeping her hold on Jake.

"I would say you're best off here. I mean what they wanted you to do is simply rediculous" Miles said.

"No, I could play a prank on 'em, it'd be fun!" he yipped
"Yah, I guess you're right," Addi said, laying down.

"A prank?" Chloe asked wondering what he was talking about.

"You'll be fine" Miles said trying his best to comfort him.

"Yah, like scaring him or somethin'," Jake said, "it's fun, my mom was really good at it. She cared my brothers all the time," he laughed.
"Thanks," Addi mumbled.

"And how would you do that?" Chloe questioned him.

Miles could only smile.

"Wait until he's asleep at night, or something, and jump at him. Or on the way home, make him think i got lost, maybe," Jke said.
Addi leaned against him for a second, a little tired, suddenly. Maybe the crying made her that way, she thought.

"One problem there little buddy... I live here" she said with a smile.

"You okay" Miles asked not sure what to think of the situation.
