Rayna shot him a glare that said, "Confess." If he didn't, then that would only make matters worse. But she wasn't to snitch anyways. It was his choice.
The doctor, known as Dr. Rells, came out with King Bob, snipping on his glasses and motioning them to put Archie on the ground.

Ryan's glance was pained. He stayed silent, not meeting Rayna's glare as he put Archie gently on the ground. "Archie had grabbed Rayna, and I stabbed him. I didn't think," he said, words spilling out of his mouth.

Rayna comfortingly rubbed his shoulder. "But you did it to protect me." she added.
Dr. Rells, the old, wise man he was, examined the wound with his glasses and kept moving them around on his face to get a better picture. "What seems to me is that it didn't penetrate the tissue surrounding the lungs or any other important organs. With some surgery and stitches, he should be okay. There's no promises, though."

Ryan nodded, still filled with horror at what he had done. Sure, it was to the man who had tried to kill him -more than once- and who had almost killed Rayna.....but still. He lifted the limp body onto the horse, Archie breathing shallowly and unevenly.
