"I'll never be able to forgive myself, Delilah. No matter what happens, I'll still feel guilty. Nothing will change that." he whimpered. He dropped his head, putting his ear to where Delilah's heart is. "I'm just happy that this never stopped." he whispered, listening to the heart beat evenly.

Russet's owned heart ached as he remembered one day that Delilah's heart would stop beating. He kept silent about his thoughts, but still felt some agony tear at him.

Russet fell asleep soon, exhausted and torn apart. Delilah's heart beats sounded like a metronome and soon he was dreaming deeply.

OOC: The next day, or Julius walks in?

Russet woke suddenly. He jumped up frantically, nearly injuring himself a second time. He sighed. "Julius, I'm not going to lie to you, but you might not want to know where we actually went."

Russet winced, thinking of his wonderful father figure.

"I went to take Delilah to see my home territory. My father was there and my mother had just had cubs. He didn't like me being there near them and attacked me. He almost touched Delilah, but I distracted him anf focused him on me as she ran home." he said, sternly, trying to emphasize the fact that he had protected Delilah and nearly killed himself to do so and try and gain some respect from the husky.

"And now she knows how I feel when you're always so prejudiced against me because I'm a wolf!" Russet spat at Julius.
