"Thanks!" she shouted to Freya, but then, when Leara saw Daiku, she froze. She starred at him while all the other wolves in the pack ran past her, and then she saw Hayumi. "How could Daiku do this?!" she muttered to herself. Suddenly she ran forward and stopped beside Daiku. "Hayumi's right! It isn't Xinal, I saw his eyes go red before, but it isn't his fault!"

"Oh yes." Xinal replied to Daiku his eyes glinting, "All the wolves following my lead? They were the ones who started the idea in the first place." His fangs peek out from his maw. Observing the diamond armor Daiku has put on Xinal nods his head before releasing a lightning strike. His head tail and limbs erratically jerks as he pads forward, as if something maybe controlling him.

Freya nodded as she heard Hayumi's plea. "But, how can it be not him? As much as I'd like to believe he's possessed by something we can only assume it is him." At this point the rebelling wolves start rushing in launching various ground spikes into the air and catapulting spheres of earth towards the remaining wolves. Mainly at Hayumi and Leara she barks out.

"Get away! The wolves are aiming for Me and Daiku. You're going to get hurt in the cross-fire." At the mention of this she launches a wall of earth with which a spike pierces stopping a few hair-lengths from her face. Other wolves start launching into battle.

Hayumi growled as she flew up and flew towards Xinal and Daiku. She would risk her life for his, and that was the sad part because she figured he wouldn't do the same for her. "Stop this! Just stop! Your starting war for no good reason and innocent wolves are going to be hurt because of both of your ignorance!" She let out a sharp growl.

(I don't get it, are there lots of wolves trying to attack us or is it just Xinal?)

Leara just manged to jump out of the way of the earth spikes, even though she stumbled at the landing. "Hayumi!" Leara cried. "I think to only way to help him is by defeating him" Hopefully he'll return back to normal then... and anyway, it's all we can do" she said to Haymui, getting ready to use her water power if needed.

((Sorry about that TwilightTheWolf. Allow me to clarify.))

From a bird's eye view the whole clearing looks to be teeming with activity. The wolves unable to fight, being too old or young have been successfully evacuated from the area. The loyal wolves had made a protective ring around Freya. There are a good twenty wolves rebelling on the side of Xinal launching attacks on the remaining wolves.

Xinal whipped around to face Hayumi, "Say goodbye to Xinal." He growls with his fangs bared. Sparks radiate around him and even an electrical crackle jump as arcs leap from fur strand to fur strand. "This young wolf is pretty skilled with his power. A shame to keep him from using it. Too bad I wasn't able to sway him to fight alongside me last time." His voice is tinged with a different voice. It looks like he either snapped or there's something else at work here. A shower of lightning stream towards Daiku.

Freya snapped her head in Xinal's direction with surprise in her eyes. "Was that Gra-?" A wolf knocks her down onto her back preparing to go for a killing blow.

Leara saw Freya in trouble, and instinctively she lept onto the wolf that was about to kill her and bit his back and fiercely trying to drag him to the ground. The wolf that had attacked Freya was stronger than her, but soon he gave in, and he fell to the ground. He wasn't dead, and soon he got up again. Leara growled hotly, baring her teeth. Disgusted, the wolf ran away to another part of the battle. "Freya... are you okay?" Suddenly Leara realized she was limping. She saw a bite mark in her leg.

Hayumi's eyes went wide and leaped at him, teeth bared as she tried to protect her leader and Xinal by not wanting him to be hurt by Daiku. The bolt struck Hayumi and sent her flying in the air but she soon caught her balance in the air and flew back down. "Get out of him Granger!" She growled deeply, eyes flaring. A burn mark streaked her side, it burned so badly but she couldn't let him know.

Leara got really frustrated. Suddenly, the mark on her side glowed white and her eyes started turning blue and glowing. She reared up and uncontrollably sent a streak of glowing water spike hurtling at the controlled Xinal.

Xinal slowly turned around to watch Hayumi get hit by the attack. A contempt smile appears on his maw. A paw lands on the soft earth. Light seeps seemingly from underneath the earth casting an eerie glow on the wolf. "Oh, how do you know of the name Granger?" He narrowed his eyes. "You catch on real quick I take it." He howls. Out of the corner of his eye he spots movement.

An explosion of light along with dust and earth erupts as the water spike reaches Xinal. The brown clouds from the dust hang over the air for a few minutes as stones and pebbles rain from the sky.

Freya just has time to recover before she's attacked by another rebel. The other wolf is trying to make himself look bigger in an attempt to try and scare the alpha into giving him the status of leadership. Freya growls as she persists to attack instead to give in. She glances over at the others.

Hayumi growled sharply. "You don't belong in him Granger, get out of Xinal!" Her green stripes glowed like neon signs, her top canines and claws becoming longer and sharper. Her body grew in size as she flew at him in a great force, her body giving all the strength it had.

If Hayumi flies into the dust cloud she would most likely come out the other end passing through empty space. The dust cloud will eventually subside and Xinal would no longer be standing there. The wolf would probably be on his way down from his accelerated jump into the sky. However if anyone would look up they may see instead only the glare from the sun.

When the possessed Xinal was hit, Leara's eyes turned normal again. Wearily she fainted and fell to the ground.

Hayumi gasped as Leara fell to the ground "Someone get Leara, now!" She ordered instantly as she slashed her mighty paw across Xinal's side, as blood oozed out quickly she regretted it greatly. "Oh Xinal.." She muttered as she took a step back and ttied to focus on her powers even more.

Daiku gave a snarl when he felt his fur bristle, alerting him to the oncomming lighting strike, quickly but inteligegntly, he allowed water to seep up fro the ground around the feet of the wolves attacking his pack, waiting for the right moment water pooling at his feet. With a sidestep, he moved right out of the lightings way, which drilled the water below him and coursed its power through the underground watertubes Daiku made, right up onto Xinals wolves, forcing his own attack to hit his own pack. with a loud scoff he chuckled, "That all you got? I'm hardly lifting a finger and your getting your tails handed to you!" he kept alert to all the carnage around him, making sure nobody would be hurt to bad. He kept a close on on Leara and Freya, the two having some trouble. "everyone get back! this is my fight..." he barked torwards the others, "Get Leara out of there!" He hated to admit it, but perhaps there was only one way to stop Grangers possession... even if everyone didn't like the solution.

((Sorry forgot to tell you guys I went on a trip out of the country.))

The gray wolf watched as Hayumi actually managed to scratch him. Xinal chuckled, "Oh little girl, you're pretty good." The earth around him suddenly exploded again and soon he should be gone from Hayumi's line of sight. With the distraction he made his way to Daiku. "Oh you're getting better."

The rebelling ground wolves all get a shock and they all reel in response. Their attacks all have ceased. For now at least.

Xinal returns his now blazing red eyes' gaze at Daiku. Static and electricity start blazing out of him, arching from his fur to the ground and vice versa, or from one part of his body to another. A slight glimmer of light appeared around him. It may not be evident right now, but he had formed a protective dome of lightning around him. "Well, that's them. And you must remember how Granger rolls Daiku. He doesn't really care for his subordinates. Like this crummy bundle of worthless fur." Xinal exclaims, the last statement referring to himself. "You also might do the same thing if you had too much power."
