"I know," Kodi said. "But never of them could come. I think Rose has had enough adventure for a lifetime and we wouldn't be able to explain to Rosie what we were doing."
"I;m fine, Daddy!" Maria called back, closing her eyes again.
"Sees a lot like Aniu," Scout said to Balto. "And your Aleu. She has wolf in her."

Ana nodded. "Yeah, she's a bit girly." she said.
Balto nodded. "Yeah, she does, all my pups do." he said. "And there was a time I wish I didn't because of how I was abused." he said. "But now I don't know what I would do without it!"

"Yeah but I love her!" said Ana, smiling. "You to." she said, licking her big brother's cheek.
Balto nodded. "I wouldn't of saved Nome otherwise."

Ana nodded. "They're cool." she said. "Dingo's funny, though I don't like his stink bombs very much." she said, making a 'yuck' face.
Balto nodded. "I'm glad I was reunited with you." he said, smiling. "I'm glad to be able to spend time with my dad."

Kodi chuckled. "Those I could live without. But Dingo enjoys them, so..." He shrugged.
"Same here, Son," Scout said. "There was a time I didn't think I''d ever see you again. I;m glad I was wrong."

"You help him make them." said Ana, giggled. "And they did come in handy with Rosie's mean ex-boyfriend."
Balto nuzzled his father. "I feel the same way." he said. "And soon, we'll see my sister again."

"Yes, and Rose will be forever grateful for that one," Kodi said.
Scout nodded, thinking about seeing his only daughter again. "I can't wait to see her."

"Yeah, his owner gave him like ninty bathes trying to get the stink off." said Ana, laughing.
Balto nodded. "And I'm sure she'll be happy to see her father." he said. "And I hope me too."

Ana fell on her back laughing. "And boy, that was an awful smell, you guys outdid yourself."
"I hope but once we tell her, she may remember us." said Balto.

Kodi laughed even harder. "When you mess with our little sister, there's gonna be some payback."
"I hope so," Scout said, looking across the ocean.

Ana nodded. "If that happened to me, you'd do the same right?"
Balto nodded. "I'm sure she will." he said. "How could you completely forget your own father?"

"Of course," Kodi said. "Thought I'd need Dingo's help with the stinkbomb."
"Well, when you hardly see you're father, there's not much to forget," Scout said, ears and head lowered.
