"Its my villages' theme." said Link. He pulled out his normal sword. "My normal sword has goat horns in the hilt." he said and put it away. "Want me to show you how I wrestle a goat to the ground? It might come in handy." he said. "It did when I faced Ganondorf's Ganon form." he said.

Zelda chuckled. "He's too small to do much harm." she said. She looked at Cynder. "Well Link and Spyro are getting off well." she said. "I guess they have a lot in common." she said. "In a way we do to." she said. "We've both been kidnapped and used by evil villains, though you suffered that indignaty much longer." she said. "And we're both defiently not girly girls."

'We will need a goat, unless for some weird reason you were thinking of wrestling ME to the ground' Spyro said, bracing himself just in case that had been the idea, Link did look strong enough to tackle a goat and Spyro was about the same size as a large goat.
Kar snorted at the glass, accidently releasing a bit of fire which licked the smooth edges leaving black scorch marks. Red went frantic and started to scramble all over the jar again. 'Let me OUT!' he yelled, 'this stupid chick is going to kill me!'
Cynder laughed. 'Yes I suppose they are, I'm am taking a wild guess by saying that fighting is considered a good natured thing here too, in our world we often play fight when we have nothing else to do or if someone has something to prove' she said, watching Spyro and Link carefully. 'And no we are definitely not girly girls, but I guess that is because we have been captured by evil people.'

"Well we're on sand and it actual doesn't hurt." said Link. He stood back. "Just charge me horns down." he said. "I promise you, it won't hurt, I've never hurt a goat before and I'm assuming you're much stronger than a goat." he said.

"And helped our heroes defeat that villain in a flashy climatic battle." said Zelda. "I helpped Link battle Ganondorf in Hyrule Field on horse back, Link finished him but I helpped." she said. "What about your final battle with Malefor?"

'Ok, I'm taking your word for it, although considering I have very tough scales I don't think throwing me on the floor would hurt that much anyway, and yes I probably am a lot stronger than a goat so I would like to see you try to tackle me' Spyro laughed, lowering his head so that his sharp horns were pointing towards Link. (don't worry, i'll let Link take him down)
(I don't know about their final battle, shall I make it up)
Kar laughed, poking the glass with his claw. He then picked up the jar and started shaking it again, making Red hit the glass which made a loud clinking noise as his scales hit the glass. 'Have you heard my new instrument' he asked Zelda, turning around so she could see Red in the jar.

Link planted his feet firmly in the ground and waited. He grabbed Spyro's horns and was pushed back about a foot before he stopped Spyro's charge, mostly due to the sand. At this point, all Spyro could do is kick up sand. Link used Spyro's force pushing against him and dragged Spyro around behind him, forcing him to the ground. He let Spyro go and dusted his hands off before helping the purple dragon up. "Its all about leverage." he said. "Put all your wieght in your legs, its how you stand." he said. He demonstraighted, he stood with his knees bent slightly, pressing his full wieght into the ground. "Do it right, and no one can move you. I was in my wolf form and I caught Ganon like I did you with this and he's bigger than used to be, probably as big as Malefor is from what you've said." he said. "So I bet if you do it right, you could throw Malefor for a loop."

Zelda chuckled. "Its time to feed him Kar." she said. She popped off the cork and magically formed a stinkbug and put it in the bottle with Red, putting the cork back on quickly.

'Right, I think i've got all that' Spyro said, shaking the loose bits of sand out of his scales. 'But to be honest, I think I will stick to breath attacks and the like' he laughed, and then gave a cheeky grin. 'Let me show you how dragons take down their opponents' he said, and then leapt on Link, knocking him to the floor. He kept his front paws on Link's chest and put all his weight on them so Link wouldn't be able to get up. 'There, I suppose there isn't much difference' he said, releasing Link and pulling him to his feet by grabbing his shirt with his teeth.
Red coughed as the stinkbug showed him why it was called a stinkbug. 'Ugh, you expect me to eat that?' he choked, putting his paws round his mouth. Kar just laughed, but then fell silent and stared at Red. 'What do you eat?' he said, 'I can't let you starve.' Red coughed a few more times and managed to choke out 'meat, same as any dragon, but not bugs, I hate bugs.'

Link dusted himself off. "True, I can probably use it in my Wolf form." he said. "But I think it would help if we teach each other everything we can." he said. "I obviously can't use your breath attacks...or maybe I can!" he said, having an idea. He pulled out his bow and cocked an airrow. "Use one of your breath attacks on my airrow head, maybe that will work."

Zelda made the stink bug vanish, though its scent lingered in the bottle. "Lets see." she said. She turned into Shiek. She held her hand up to her face and concentraited. She suddenly through out her chain into the sand and a loud screech came out of the ground. She pulled the chain back and pulled a worm-like monster with a three hinged jaw out of the sand. "Moldorm, a subterrain predator native to this region, dangerious but good food." she said, turning back into Zelda. "But they're nocturnal as well." she said. "Good source of protine."

Spyro thought for a second, and then released a ball of lightning. It hit the end of the arrow and stuck, sparking around its steel head. 'Very nice, good idea, it would probably work with fire but not water or air' he said.
Red stared at the worm in horror. 'You are going to kill it first...right?' he squeaked. Kar looked at the worm nervously, and then said 'is there anything else, we don't get those in our world, unless you sent me home with loads I won't have any to feed him.'

Link shot the arrow through a rock, sending a lightning bolt flying past the rock. "Cool."

Zelda chuckled. "Its dead." she said. "Sorry, that's all we have." she said. "Cynder, you've been quiet, was my question too personal?"

'Yeah, I get that whenever I shoot it out of my mouth' Spyro said, grinning.
Red let out a sigh of relief. 'Wait, it's ok, I'm not very hungry at the moment' he said quickly. Kar screwed up his face. 'I think we have more meat back at home, I can always find something back home' he said, but then stopped and looked like he was about to cry. 'If we ever get home' he said softly.
Cynder looked up, she had been thinking hard about her life. 'Oh, no it wasn't too personal, we found Malefor and confronted him, he lied and said I had led Spyro here, that I was still under his mind control, and he then made me attack Spyro. Spyro...said some things, and it broke Malefor's hold on me. We forced Malefor down to the earth's core, where the ancients imprisoned him. Spyro had to hold our whole world together with his powers' Cynder said, looking thoughtfully out to the desert.

"Lets try that Light breath Feron gave you." said Link, cocking another arrow.

Zelda held Kar like one would hold a baby. "Its ok Kar, I promise, we'll fix this, Spyro and Link are chosen heroes, they're chosen for a reason." she said and looked at Cynder. "That reminds me a lot of our own battle with Ganondorf...Ganondorf was in Hyrule Castle, keeping me prisoner, Link and the Twilight Princess, Midna arrived to confront him and Ganondorf poccessed me. While he fought them in my body, Link sent his dark energy back, using the Master Sword to turn it Light and forced him out of me. I was unconscious until Link defeated Ganondorf's Ganon form." she said. "Midna teleported us out of the castle and held off Ganondorf. Then me and Link faced Ganondorf on his horse, the two of us riding Epona." she said. "I aided Link with arrows the Light Spirits gave me and we knocked the King of Evil from his horse." she said. "Then Link and Ganondorf had one last duel, Link winning and impaling Ganondorf with the Master Sword...sending Ganondorf to the underworld but that didn't stop him as you can see." she said. "Simularally, we both were controled...I'm not Link's true love, trust me, but he did free me from Ganondorf." she said. "As Spyro did with you..."

'Ok then' Spyro said, shutting his eyes for a second. He opened them and opened him mouth as well, and released what looked like a bolt of electricity, except it didn't spark and shed a soft light instead of the harsh yellow one. It attached itself to the end of the arrow, making a glowing white ball.
'I don't know what you mean by 'true love' Zelda, I didn't mention anything about love' Cynder snapped, looking at the ground and grumbling to herself.
Kar stayed still and quiet. He had been thinking about how life would be like if he did stay here, he could be treated as a royal dragon, he was a gold dragon after all, he pictured himself all grown up, standing out in a castle's gardens, with a long frill down his neck as the sun hit his face, all he felt was warmth. There was always an apple tree whenever he pictured that, he liked apples, they were all tangy.

Link fired the arrow and it struck a rock with a burst of light, going straight through it and deep into the sand. "I like that." he said. "We've got some double team moves now." he said, he was really begining to like Spyro.

"You didn't have to." said Zelda, holding up the Triforce Symbol. "the Triforce of Wisdom gives me knowladge to tell someones feelings from their physical signs, when you mentioned what Spyro said, I could see in your eyes that what he said had a very deep meaning to you." she said. "And your breathing changed." she said. "Like someones does remembering a gift from someone they love or when the one they loved told them they loved them." she said. "I'm sorry if it seemed like snooping but I was hanging on what you said and I noticed these things." she said. She smiled at Kar. "And I can tell you're daydreaming about something."

Spyro grinned back at his new friend. He hadn't known him that long, and when he had first seen him he didn't think that their team would work, two males would both fight to be leader, it was like that with every animal. But as he had got to know Link more, it seemed that they were more alike than he first thought, they both had sworn enemies, and they were both chosen to defeat these enemies. Spyro felt a pang of sadness at the fact that after they had defeated the two enemies he would have to say goodbye to his friend, maybe even forever, it seemed...wrong.
'I see' Cynder said, and that was all she said. She and Spyro had beaten Malefor without any special powers, and here was Zelda prying into peoples' thoughts without asking, and she did think of it as snooping, that was private.
'Oh, no, no I wasn't, I was just looking out at the desert, just thinking of what is in this world, and in our world, I wasn't day dreaming' Kar said hurriedly, looking up at Zelda with a slightly worried look on his face.

Link nodded. "Let me guess, sad we're going to have to go our seprate ways once Malefor and Ganondorf are beaten?" he asked. He nodded. "I know how you feel, I've had to say goodbye to the friend I made in Ganondorf's last attack, Midna, the Twilight Princess." he said. "But whenever Twilight happens in my world, and likely ours, the worlds cross for a brief moment." he said. "And sometimes I see her again." he said. "Our worlds are also linked and maybe...maybe at times our worlds cross for brief moments, nether of us noticing because we're not looking." he said. "And maybe we can find a way to visit each other sometimes, we might not need to destroy the portal, just not use it very often and keep it secret somehow."

"I didn't read your mind." said Zelda. "I know that must be what you're thinking." she said. "I read your body language, when your hanging onto a story someone is telling, its hard not to watch body language as it makes you know the emotions they're feeling and makes the story all the more meaningful." she said. She looked down at Kar. "There's nothing wrong with daydreaming, sometimes its the easiest way to find the solution to a problem."
