"I...I know...." Quobah smiled. Songa could barely see it thought the darkness.

"But, do you?" Songa asked. Quobah looked back up at her. "Yes. I do." She said, sticking her nose up. Songa smiled "Good to know."

"Yeah....but....Oh no Songa!! The hunters! Hunting season is comming up soon!" She cried. "I'll have to leave Zeke....I can't stay here....." She cried.

Songa's brow went up. Why could she stay? It would be a great hiding spot. "Oh, ahem." Songa coughed. "What?" Quobah asked. "Well, uh. Why? Its a great hid-out! Is somthing wrong with Nome? Or somthing else?" Songa asked. Quobah turned her eye's back, not wantong to look at Songa, or hear her questions.

"Okay look...I'll tell you to get it over with....my parents....they were killed in this very spot...." Quobah cried. Songa looked surprized. She had both of her parents, but most of her friends had lost thiers, and she knew it must have been awful.

"I readly am sorry. But hunters aren't allowed to shoot in town. So don't leave town!" Songa smiled. Quobah nodded. They walked up to the boys, but Zorro and Zeke hadn't seen them. "Well. I. Think. I-- She's." Zeke studerd. "You hardly know her and you went and got her--". "SHUT IT! I don't know, but I still love her. And I have known her for a while now! She may or not be pre--" Zeke was stoped by Songa's "Ahem". And Zeke turned red.

"Wow, I didn't know you were part lizard." Quobah laughted. Zeke tried but he couldn't force one out. He choked on his own spit. "Um...Quobah....I gotta talk to you.." Zeke manged to say.

Songa ad Zorro left, leaving Quobah and Zeke alone. "I know we've known eachother for a while, now. And I've, ahem." He cleared his throught. "I-I've realy started to like you." He said, turning red.

"Me too...I wish you could come to Canada and Ancorage with me but...your owner..." Quobah started. "My owner, psh, He dosen't care about me...." Zeke said. "Well...okay...but there's somthing you need to know about...Zeke....I had a sorry escuse for a mate when I was two...now...he's gone but we had two pups..." Qoubah sighed, "Zeke, I need you to come to White moutian for a few days...I want you to meet them." Qoubah started. Zeke was shocked. "Why didn't you-" Quobah cute him off, "Zeke, I was afriad you''d call me somthing that my old mate did, I wasn't ready, but I am now." She said.

"Okey, lets go." Zeke smiled. Meanwhile, Songa and Zorro had been listening. "Hear that? Their going to be mates!" Songa exlaimed. Zorro smiled to himseld. Well done, brother, well done...

The next day, Quobah and Zeke ended up around close to White moutian. "Haniki! I haven't seen you in so long!" Quobah cheered as a young female wolf ran up to them. "Who's this mom?" She asked. "This is....Zeke....mabey your step father." Quobah wispered. "Well anythings better than that nut job!" She exclaimed. She was talking about her old father. "Where's your brother." Quobah asked, not wanting to bring up the subject of her ex-mate.

Her smile turned to a frown. "What happend?" Quobah exlaimed. "He's... missing." She sighed. "How?" SHe asked. "Its my fault! Momma its all my fault! This dog got close to me and he tried to stop him! But he just dragged him away! I havn't seen him sence!" Haniki sobbed. "Ssshhh, calm down, when did this happen?" Quobah asked. Haniki sniffled.

"A couple of days ago, but the dog was a huge saint banard...there was no way." Haniki cried. "Oh mom!" SHe sniffled. She dug her face into her mom's beautiful coat. "Mom...It was so....." Haniki cried. Suddenly, Quobah turned to see Zeke going into town. "Zeke, no, you!" Quobah started. "Listen...I fought a bear and got out alive, a dog...your brother will be back soon...and so will your knew father." Zeke said to Haniki.
