(Wow, weird, that's almost exactly what I was thinking. Only I had Darla and Dawn swapped I like yours better though

Jaka leaned into Dawn's kiss, unable to show or say how happy he was at her forgiveness. He looked down at her with a fiery love that no water could ever quench. He followed Dawn carefully, keeping his footfall silent and his eyes thoughtfully turned to the sky. He caught Dawn's whispered words and wondered for a moment what it was really like to have a brother. He had only known Trooper a while but he had already felt like family.

Shar kept good pace with Darla and helped as much as she could to track their path back to their parents' den. It felt weird to be going back so soon, and maybe this time she would stay with her parents. She just didn't quite feel ready for whatever journey they were about to go on, not if it involved more death. They need me though, and whatever is coming feels big she thought.

Karba also moved to help his sisters track. He had never been very good at scenting, but his memory was crystal clear. He recognised the trees they had gone past, the route they had taken, and all he had to do was reverse it.

(Ok and...woot woot!! page 20! xDD)

Dawn lifted her head, she remembered this path, "This way!" She called back to the others, after walking for a few more minutes she spotted her parent's den, it was the same as how they left it before. Dawn turned to other's smiling blissfully, "Over here" She called before padding quickly over to the den, her parents scent filled her nose which made her feel safe and warm. "Mom...Dad" She said calling into the den. Darla made her way swiftly to her sister side, poking her nose into the den.

Darla smiled as she too loved her parent's scent. Angel's ears flicked up, she opened here eye's and looked around, "That sounded like Dawn..." She said softly, before nudging Brahma. Dawn peered into the den, "Mom!Dad!" She called once more. Angel's tail thumped against the ground as she spotted her daughter, "Dawn! honey!" She said nudging Brahma once more.

Karba dashed forwards just before Dawn, the trail suddenly becoming crystal clear. He kept pace with Dawn though, as he didn't want to be the first to see his parents. Although he felt dreadful about being so fearful of them, he was concerned about what their rection would be.

Shar picked up speed, but didn't, couldn't, run. Exhaustion had set in and she was really feeling it. She hadn't had a good night's sleep for days and her eyelids felt heavy. She also hadn't eaten in a while, too much had happened. She didn't know if this was affecting the others, but she didn't want to complain.

Jaka hung back, the last time he had been here he hadn't been welcomed as highly as he had hoped. He knew Brahma resented his father, for a reason that he still didn't know about, and that made Brahma resent him too. He was cautious, stopping a few meters away from the den entrance, just in case.

[color=#0000FF]Brahma twitched and rolled over. He was having the most wonderful dream, one where all his children were back with him and they were all calling his name as he took down an enormous buck for them. He awoke to someone poking him in the back and voices crying happily around him. He sat up, too quickly, and felt his head spin and his vision blur. 'Wha-whazzup' he said, his speech slurred dreadfully.[/color]
