The Omega and Beta Wolves of both the Initiative and Cavalry divisions launched a simlutaneous attack intended on the Alpha of the Water Wolves, Kyluka. The trademark pillar attack and terrestial tremors shook the earth as the attack commenced. However the Cavalry Omega and Beta Wolves didn't count on the interference of the Wind Wolves. Therefore only the Initiative's attack only came through. The one's of the Cavalry fell short around Xinal.

Granger's eyes flew open with shock and disbelief as his meticulous plan turned around. "They have the aid of the Wind Wolves?" He leapt forward to a slope below. "There are around a patrol's amount of Wind Wolves in that... But where's their alpha?" His mind quickly calculated the best places they would've appeared and mobilize their forces. "He's more clever than I thought." He spoke to himself.

"Let's see how they handle this then." Granger howled twice in quick succession and leapt up into the air. On cue, the Initiative division kept their distance from the Water Wolves and the Alpha unit still with Granger leapt into the air alongside with him. Suddenly the earth that Granger and the Alphas were standing on flew into the air. The rest of the Alpha unit fell back to earth as the earth projectiles flew past them. Granger created a tremendous heat wave below him, turning his eyes bright amber, lifting him in the air. And at the moment he came to level with the projectiles his eyes blazed red as fire burst out of him, contacting the earth projectiles, setting them a flame, making stakes of fire raining from the sky.

Granger landed on the ground, his eyes turning back to amber then to dark brown, watching his combination attack fky down. He howled holding the howl for three seconds signalling his alpha unit to leap into the fray.

Daiku grinned with a shout he howled, 'NOW MOM!!" And with that call, Kyluka summoned a powerful tidal wave that collided with the projectiles and took the fire out, DAiku flew and then hit them dowen at the ground wolf and lit them on fire again. Countering Grangers move back at him.

Vixen had to dodge a few of the burning pieces of earth, but by the time it stopped raining fire, she turned to see how many were still with her.

Those...COWARDS! Vixen's mouth immediately opened in a snarl, some of the windwolves still miles behind trying not to step on the fire. She could hear the Alpha yelling at them.

"You idiots! Go after her and help!" When they were taking too long, the massive wolf lunged down and raced past them towards Vixen himself, and got up to her side, muscles rippling under his pelt. "I guess it's just you and me for now, eh?"

Vixen flattened an ear but gave a small nod. Why does it feel like I know him better than any of the other wolves I used to live with?

When the Alpha's claws flamed, and his dark blue eyes turned amber much like Vixen's, she knew who he was.

My uncle's son! My cousin! How...how did he become Alpha?

Xinal slammed into a ground wolf head first and flipped himself with the impact up into the air. He arched through the air, much like the current he controls, and landing neatly on top of another shocking him.

The Ground Wolves at this point were all in the clearing. Sending pillars and earth everywhere as they met the Water and Wind Wolves.

With a simple twist into the air, Daiku was digging his fangs into a suprised ground wolf and pulling him into the air, and with a powerful gust, he sent it flying torwards the others. Then realizing he had all elemnets at his disposal he attempted a combo attack, rapidly fireing a powerful beam of water and a freezing gust to it, a simple explosion in the center and a second gust to propel, he created ice bullets and sent them flying at them faster than the speed of sound. "i'm a genius!" he thought, but then realized he was fireing it his allies to. then her let water blast down it melt the ice, but giving everyone a very nice drenching.

Xinal leapt off the incapacitated ground wolf just as soon as he hit the ground he looked up and saw Daiku's firendly fire. "What in blazes?!" He barked out wondering what he was doing. The wind and water mixed together freezing it and was heading to everyone. He prepared to leap when he realized that the ice shards changed. In the next moment he felt water just splash unto him like a wall. He felt the water flood the field and he opened his eyes to see that a quarter of the clearing was flooded to his belly. And he was in the deep section, with only his upper body above the water. "DAIKU!!!" He howled. At least the others were on high ground.

The Cavalry unit coming at Xinal leaped away and avoided the depression in the ground which Xinal and some of their comrades were stuck in. When they realized that Xinal was practically not moving they launched an attack.

Granger called out to his units to avoid the water drenched area, "The Water Wolves have an advantage there! Leave those areas and fortify the dry ground." As an answer the ground wolves leaped into the air with their earth catapult aiming for Daiku.

Vixen felt a splash of water knock her to the ground, and got up drenching wet. Growling in annoyance at Daikou, she tried to make her claws flame. But they wouldn't light. Vixen shook her pelt dry then tried again, this time it worked. Her cool blue eyes turned to an amber yet again.

The Alpha had done the same thing, but was busy yelling at Daikou to watch it next time or he'd be in big trouble. Vixen almost laughed, if it weren't for the war. Leaving the Alpha to dry off, she lunged down towards where Xinal was in the 'bowl' of water.

"Xinal quit playing in the water and get up here!" She chuckled slightly, heading down towards him.

Daiku grinned and barrled into the fray of flying ground wolves, getting a idea he hit them into the water and told xinal to use a electric attack and shock them, making sure all water wolves got out first. he laughed when he heard vixens joke and landed on Xinals back, ready to drag him out when he was done electrocuting the ground wolves.

(lol, i just realized Daiku, Xinal, and Vixen have 5 letters in there names*

Xinal glanced up at Vixen ears flat against his head, "Ha, ha. Very funny." He pulled up a paw out of the slush that was once earth. This is going to take forever... He glanced around seeing three ground wolves struggling to get out of the water. The water wolves had no problem apparently, gettting out with ease. "I better get out before-" He stopped midsentence when the water reflected something approaching. He glanced up and saw darts heading upwards from the Alpha Unit, Granger's unit. "Holy!" Just before he panicked he heard Daiku's order to send a shock through the water and saw him flying just above. Xinal glanced back down his eyes fiercely sparking, and called down the second deadly charge for the day.

From the heavens, a flash of white crackled and exploded, attracted to the negative static Xinal was creating. It arched, crackling past Daiku towards Xinal. The water rippled before flashing for a moment, carrying the current to the trapped Ground Wolves. Within a fraction of a second all movement ceased. Xinal's body fell limp after the energy coursed through his body, his head falling below the water, his legs having lost their will to carry his weight. Daiku...Get me out... He thought in wild panic. I can't move around in water in this state. His weary body trembling trying to fight against the resistance of water.

Vixen saw Xinal going limp, and stepped forward, her front paws in the water and digging into the earth. Her jaws closed down on his scruff and she tried to pull him out, but only managed in keeping his head above water.

(srry writers' block I've been up all night watching season two of my favorite show)

Xinal felt himself being dragged by the scruff of his neck. He feebly tried to kick the water to help, however in his weakened state all he did was splashing in the water. Here again, I feel like an idiot. He thought sarcastically. Then he looked up managing to gasp out the words, "Raining rock. Up above."

Vixen's gaze turned to the sky, and she kicked out at a rock heading towards her with a front paw, knocking it away easily. Making sure none more were heading for her, she jumped backwards with her fangs still in Xinal's scruff.

Yelping in suprise at her strength, Vixen fell backward after getting Xinal out. "Whoa. Cut back on the food a bit, k?"

Coughing out water from his lungs as pillars of earth slammed into the water behind them, Xinal whimpers out, "How ironic." Glancing at his lean but small body. Thanks to Granger, who has kept him going out on patrols for around half of all the patrols by the pack, his build has become smaller and thinner. He shakes his head wearily. "Give me a few more minutes and I'll be back in the fight." He says trying to stand, with only partial success.

Daiku saw them geting out and noticed the next wave aproaching quickly. With little time to react Daiku used every bit of power at his disposal to use, launching fireballes, twisters, hurracane strengh winds, giant icicles and his personal favorite. blast of superheated water mixed with a hot air creating a acid like spray.

The Cavalry Division all leapt back as they were hit by Daiku's aerial bombardment. Some even flinching at the 'acid-like' attack, some even howling. Granger glanced around at his units. "All injured retreat to the rendezvous! Heal yourselves before returning." This will go down once and for all. With another glance around he spots Kyluka. His teeth bared and eyes narrowed. The shades of his eyes turn amber, the air surrounding him heating up. He barked twice signalling to his unit. Suddenly they repeated the bark, and the other ground wolves howled in reply. The temprature around the battlefield increased dramatically and Granger, along with his alpha unit, disappeared out of sight as the light refracted around them.

Xinal finally stood up on sturdy legs, "Alright I'm ready."
