Kira gasped and looked over to edge, seeing the ground was too far below. No, she screamed in her mind. Midnight! She nearly wanted to jump down herself, but something kept on holding her back. She then sighed and turned back to Wanderer, a tear falling down her cheek.

When the vine snapped, Surf flew and smacked off a rock, being knocked out instantly.
Luke nodded. "I hope they will." he said scared, he began humming his lullaby to himself again.

Wanderer sighed. "Goodbye, friend. Thank you for knowing us and joining us. you taught me so much." He turned ot Kira and nuzzled her.
Yunfly went to Surf and got her on her back. She turned to Mara and Flower, ready to lead them home with Surf. They needed her and she'd be strong. "Mara, Flower, i'm sorry," she whispered. "He loved you..."
Winterfall nodded. "When will they get back?" He began to pace. "Somethign's wrong."

Kira the started to sob. "I tried," she said in between gasps. "I really did try, but I just couldn't do it. It's all my fault!" She then buried her face into Wanderer's chest, sobbing and crying even more.

Luke started to cry. "Why'd I have to go and break my leg? I want to help them so much Winter, I really do but I can't because I'm so stupid danger prone." he said, tears running down his face.

Kira just gave out a small sigh before she rapidly turned around, running back down the mountain. She couldn't even look back, and she didn't even dare to. Not the entire time....

Kira suddenly ran by as she headed towards the direction of the den, more tears streaming down her face. She was panting hard from all the running, but she didn't seem to stop.

Wanderer followed Kira into the den.
Winterfall looked up. "What happened? Where are the others?"
"Yunfly will be here in a bit. She's bringing Surf, AMra, and Flower." Wanderer hung his head.
"Wait so..." murmured Winterfall. His eyes widened and his ears slid back ."Oh no. Please no." He shook Luke awake. "Luke, they're back. i think- i think- i don't know. Wanderer, what happened?"
Wanderer looked up, his eyes clouded with sadness. "It's Midnight. He fell over a cliff."

Kira slumped down into a corner as she kept on crying, not even feeling the very need to stop. Kira, please don't cry, a voice inside her said. You're going to make me well up too. "Just leave me alone, Wolfbane," she murmured. "I don't need more sympathy right now." She then heard a sigh. Okay then, the voice replied. I'll just be right here, just in case you happen to need me...
