@Toby: Anyway, just to ask, what has happend lately? I mean family wise, has Charlie been treating you slightly diffrent due to your 'run-away' to Luna's?

Toby: You mean when the pups were on the way? No, he understands why I wanted to stay with her for a while. And since he doesn't need me as much as he used to (back before he could walk), he's OK with not having me around sometimes.
Luna: (nuzzling Toby) Which is good news for me.

Mr. Calvin: What's plastic?
Dragon Tamer: I don't think they had plastic back then.
Mr. Calvin: Well, it doesn't matter. It seems that dog is intent on getting into our place once in a while, so he might as well be able to do it without doing any damage. Besides, he's a good dog. (pats Toby)
Luna: (to Toby) They didn't know you when you were a puppy, did they?

Toby: Yeah, all the time. It's not really neccessary anymore, just something we do for fun.
Luna: You should see them sometimes. Charlie never laughs as much as he does when he's on that sled.

Luna: Maybe. He's grown up quite a bit, obviously. But when he's with the kids... [laughs] I'm telling you, he's the biggest pup of them all.

Mr. Calvin: Doing quite well. Bit of a sore throat like she sometimes gets around this time of year, but she's fine and dandy.

Dragon Tamer: Well bear in mind, I'm not 100% sure about that. I'd have to do a little research to know for sure...

@Toby: Oh right, is that the way he gives you 'walks'?

@Luna: Seriously?

@Mr. Calvin: How much have the pups cost you, I mean in damage to he sofa and all that?

@Dragz: Oh, right...

Toby: [laughs] I guess you could say that. I get plenty of excercise on my own, but we still do it just for the fun of it.

Luna: Mm-hm. You should hear the way he talks to them. They're never going to get past baby talk with him around.
Toby: Aw, c'mon, I'm not that bad. And you should talk- remember the way you were cooing at them last night?
Luna: OK, so maybe I exaggerated a bit. But just you wait, I guarantee nce they're up and around you'll be running around with the best of them.

Mr. Calvin: Actually not that much. They're still in the basket, so they're not damaging anything yet.

Dragon Tamer: I did a little research, and i turns out there were plastics efore 1925. I'm pretty sure, however, that the kind you're thinking f hadn't been invented yet.

@Toby and Luna: It's called 'being perants', you all do that, evan I do it...

Toby, have you ever met Orde, Ewan, or Comet?

Luna: That's true.
Toby: So I'm off the hook?
Luna: Hmm, maybe...

Mr. Calvin: Oh, uh, thanks. [whispers to Mrs. Calvin] How quick can we give the puppies away?
Luna: I heard that.
Mrs. Calvin: Did you hear her growl? Sometimes I'd swear they know every word we say.

Dragon Tamer: No problem.

@Mr. Calvin: Don't think your going to buy everything in the world... Trust me, the money comes in handy with pups, especialy Toby's, with you having troblemaking pups, with the world time winner troblemaker as a father, that would probably cover half the damage.

@Toby: Yep, your off, and so is Luna. Hopfully now you could be a normal copleee insted of a 'un-normal' cople, see in store for details.

Mr. Calvin: Like I said, they'll be at their new homes before they can get into too much trouble.
Toby: Guess I'll just have to step up their training.
Luna: Honey...

Toby and Luna: [in unison] Where's the fun in normal?

@Mr. Calvin: You know, my dad owns your bank.

@Mr. and Mrs. Toby: Well, there is none, it would just stop the town going bankrupt everytime you do somthing...

Kelev: Unless something in a future story happens to one of the three mentioned, I'm sure they'll all meet Toby... and I'm quite sure that Comet will probably be young Toby's partner in mass mayhem until Comet matures more. I'll talk to Dragon Tamer, and see if we could write a short story with this sort of senario.

Orde: By the sound of things, I'm probably going to be too old (or possibly dead) to see Toby in the later parts of his serise when he's grown. I'm almost four years Balto's senior, and Balto himself was getting to be over the hill when Toby showed up. But I have met him a few times as a pup. He's a lot like Ewan was... has a bad case of hero worship-ism. It's a illness that affects the mind....

Ewan: *Snorts* Feel lucky Orde, because my subject of worship was you. Anyway, I'm Balto's age, just so you know. I will be around the whole time, and so will Comet (unless Kelev decides she wants to do us in or send us to a different location). I'm sort of dreading the idea of Comet meeting Toby, actually...

Comet: Oh, come on Ewan. I'm trustworthy. How bad could it possibly get?

Toby: We're not that bad. Sheesh, you'd think we burned down the boiler room or something.


Luna: Comet, I'm keeping you and Toby as far apart as possible.
Toby: Actually, I'm liking this idea. Let's see what happens.

@Toby: Talking about burning the boiler room down... Do you have any clue who did it last night? I mean, burn down the Boiler room? because to be honest, it made a good bomb fire.
